I was also there on that night. I was wet, quite cold and overwhelmed by the music. When Hank came on stage the crowd very nearly exploded. It will remain a wonderful memory.
As for me, I find this the most awesome & great melody ever played by Jean Michel. With Hank Marvin joining him, London Kid gets no way any worse but excellent :-). Besides, when my daughter was 6 (1999), I bought both Jean Michel's "Revolutions" & "Destination Docklands" albums - and guess who was the one most crazy about "London Kid" :-).
La primera vez que vi este video fue en una cinta de VHS cuando tenia 4 o 5 años, y me lo he encontrado en RUclips por casualidad despues de 11 años cuando ya nisiquiera me acordaba de que este video existia.Vaya temaso de JMJ.
i was there when i was 16 and thought the atmosphere, sound, lasers and pyrotechnics were amazing but when i have watched the video again and again....i feel that i was not only ripped off by the ticket price but by the 'performance' of Jarre....i could have played his cd in my back garden and set off some fireworks and saved a lot of money ( if you watch his videos closely his synch with the music is as bad as a 70's kung fu film )..I hope Mr Jarre has seen Pink Floyd at EC in 94...QUALITY
@marpeja Oct 1988 on the Royal Victoria Dock in Newham E London. He had been trying for months to get the local council permission and they finally let him do it over 2nights in the autumn. I was at the 2nd (and driest!!) night

Shame that was all prerecorded, apart from Hank. As for the woman singing miles away from ther mike, didnt seem to alter in volume...
