How long does each butter last in the refrigerator? Freezer?
Is the lemon zest crucial? I am not a citrus person, but sometimes I don't mind it when it is mixed with things. Was thinking of making the herb butter without it.
+Andrew Collinsworth it does add a nice pop of brightness, but I think you can try it without. Let me know how it goes!

Are you using salted or unsalted butter? Does land o lakes butter work for this?
