    Why is the g silent in the end of every ing verbs

      @@Kumozu-sp7lw there are many issues in languages that can not be questioned. For examples the words tough and though. Here gh has different pronunciations the first is pronounced as /f/ sound , however the second is silent. So, there are many irrational languages like English and we have to accept them as they are.
