Thanks Mahir for bringing up our national team good run of form with a good brain in sudanese football. Also i like to add that these players know they have weigh on their shoulder to make Sudanese people in the country and disapora happy so theres extra grinta and passion to play for the shirt. Also kwesi appiah knows the sudanese mindset and the players he coaxhed before in Sudan from 2014-2017 with khartoum club and most of these players play for the national team like Saif terry, eltish , karshoum .
I really enjoyed this episode 🔥 🔥🔥. On the group issue, if we had a group of 5 or 6 teams instead of 4 for AFCON qualifiers, we wouldn't have this problem. That way host nation benefits along with everyone. I hear Mr Savoy, but couldn't help 😂 after he complained about the ref affecting both Ghana matches only for Angola to win there. Sir, it wasn't the ref. I wish you had asked him if he wanted VAR? I admire his work with CAR, very competitive team he has built. I'm glad that my man Kwesi Appiah is getting some ❤️, about time. What the Sudanese FA did was smart with the Saudi FA. Reminds me of the Danish FA and Zambian FA collaboration right after the plane crash that would lead to a competitive squad at the final of AFCON 94. That's another route some of these smaller nations should be looking at until they have a fully established and independent league. Countries like Japan, South Korea, even Uruguay exist... if they don't want GCC countries. Fantastic episode!
Thanks Mahir for bringing lights in my country U know we were so close to qualify twice 1st one was in Burkina Faso the ref killed the game by adding 10 additionnel Time insted of give 3 2nd was at home we lost it against Mauritania we had a poor performance On tom of it the lack of investment in Soccer we full of talent in n out if country but the federation doesn't put 100% effort to bring all this players to our national team
Thanks for another great episode. I do understand choosing Morocco to play your home games, what I don't really understand, why do they host their games against Morocco in Morocco. Wouldn't it be more advantageous for the Central African republic to host Morocco in Cameroon or South Sudan?! I can clearly see that the coach is complaining about that fact, while the CAR FA is the one who made the decision.
Excellent point, I was wondering the same thing why play so far away from home when there are options nearby? Maybe Mr Savoy didn't want to blame his boss. Can't be CAF picking Morocco for CAR, but who knows 🤷🏿♂️
I think it's a win-win for the FAs, not the teams Cause the CAR FA wouldn't need to move and try to get another country to host you and Morocco is already the host of the afcon and for the Moroccan fa they get to play at home and get used to the Moroccan climate since most of the players play in Europe which they will be playing in the afcon
I hope one day in lifetime, my country 🇸🇴 play at an afcon! 😅
Inshallah

Amazing episode, I really enjoyed it. Interesting insights
Glad you enjoyed it!
Also , I was wondering where I know Raoul from, then I remembered that he had a short stint in my hometown team " MC El Eulma" back in 2013.
mamelodi sundowns is going to wi caf champions league

Algeria made a huge mistake to sack the indigenous coach who won the afcon. In Africa we don't value our indigenous coaches
