- No. 16 Oregon State football defeated UC Davis by a final score of 55-7 on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the reopening of completed Reser Stadium. The Beavers totaled 450 yards on offense and held the Aggies to 169 yards. Damien Martinez led the OSU rushing attack with seven carries for 104 yards and one touchdown.

I’m glad to see DJ is looking like the 5 star recruit that he was. I hope he continues to light it up against stronger competition. Clemson miss used him
They really didn’t. He just didn’t fit the program, and that’s perfectly okay, but we gave him weapons, oline, a killer defense, virtually unlimited chances, we dumbed down a ton of plays so he could build up his confidence as a person and as a QB, but it became apparent that DJ wasn’t meant for us and we weren’t meant for him.

UC Davis is ranked 14th in FCS poll, though.
No. 14 in FCS is pretty crazy tbh. It’s easy to say all that when Oregon State is No. 16 ranked FBS team.
They were really not that bad. It’s a very small program that wasn’t even D1 15 years ago, and can’t give athletic scholarships. Which is also a whole league below Oregon State (which is not to mention, Ranked). I’m not sure how much better you expected them to play. And honestly I think until they do go FBS, and start recruiting, I’m pretty sure it will be the same.
