Hola gente!
The first time I went to an after-hours club and sat in with Junior Cook and Blue Mitchell I thought I could hang with them on Half Nelson but I was good at this tempo little did I know how blazingly fast they played it. I couldn't even get an note off....
I have used this great backing track for an amateur recording! In the description of the video, i have mentioned of course the link of the backing track and your channel!
You are a singer! This is a beautiful standard written and recorded by Tadd Dameron, featured Miles Davis and Fats Navarro to name a few. You should practice scat vocals over it. One of the loveliest set of chord changes ever in jazz!
We fit together like two birds of a feather The perfect combination and it couldn't be better If you just say the word, I'll leave my lonely world I'll fly with you, ladybird Just like a robin in the harbinger of spring I'd have this urge to fly since you've given me wings Please don't you say goodbye, I'll have to leave the sky Just fly with me, ladybird
Yes kinda! The triangle indicates a major7 chord but tt doesn't necessary mean that you have to play a major scale. Usually you play Ionian or Lydian over major7 tho'. % means repeat as you said. :)
@@gorkem_ozalp_guitar There is no difference. When you talk about modes you often say Ionian when you mean the major scale. But it's just a fancy way of saying it. An aeolian is the same as the minor scale. I hope it helps! :)

crackkk Gracias

@@johnnyx53 Tadd Dameron was amazing. No, however. I am no real singer. I sing at home 😂

To be clear, a triangle indicates a major scale, and a percentage sign, %, indicates a repeat?

@@grewrettsa11 as a bass player, how should I play along?
@@grewrettsa11 what's the difference between major scale and ionian?
