  • Aerial shots from August 10, 2023, show the devastation in Lahaina after wildfires tore through the island of Maui, in the US tourist paradise of Hawaii. The fast-moving fires have claimed at least 36 lives, according to officials. President Joe Biden declared the fires a "major disaster" and unblocked federal aid for relief efforts, as residents said they needed more help and feared it would take years for the town to recover.

I'm a 62 year-old man who vacationed here a couple months ago. When I heard the news and saw the first photos coming out of Lahaina, I could not hold back the tears. I cannot fathom what the people who call Lahaina home and/or have their businesses there are going through. The magnitude of this tragedy is immeasurable and my heart goes out to everyone affected.

I think what makes this fire more relatable to people than other major fire disasters is the sheer number of people who have some kind of memory of the place. When Maui welcomes roughly 3 million people a year its not far fetched to assume hundreds of millions of people alive today have some kind of 1st person, intensely intimate personal memory of this place. Weddings. Anniversaries. Burials--ashes over the ocean. Graduations. Marriage Proposals.

Left Lahaina to get supplies for people without food, water and gas, but been stuck in traffic going back on and off for days now with miles of cars in front and behind me trying to do the same. Seen many local companies with police escort pass by with lots of supplies. Road is closed again going in so I guess we’ll be sleeping in our cars until Honoapiilani opens up.

The banyan tree looks like part of it survived, but the buildings across the street are gone. This is so much more informative than the spoken or written news coverage. Same here. We spent 2 trips there, the second one 2 weeks to decide if we might move there. We talked to several business owners about a restaurant/bar but in the end, we decided not to do it due to the expense of housing. Since I can remember, I heard stories from my grandmother about her husband being stationed in Hawaii when he was in the Navy. I loved it at first sight as he did. Our favorite place was Cheeseburger in Paradise for Pina Coladas and the art galleries. The artists put their hearts and souls into some of that work and it's all gone. Can't be replaced. I don't know if they can do it, but reproductions of the buildings that had character could be done if the owners are willing. It won't be the same, but I would go again even if it wasn't.

    It's devastating beyond explaining.
Our Sheriff, Kory Honea, Butte Co, CA knows how to work the bureaucracy for Search Rescue, Recovery. The Sheriff is also the coroner. Awful job.

The Lahaina Town Action Committee, the white building in front of the tree, was completely gutted. Baldwin house was also destroyed. Those 2 buildings held historical records for the city, including the blueprints for all the historic buildings. It'll be impossible to rebuild it the way it was. Lahaina is gone, and with it a big part of my ohana. I used to live there back in the 90's

Borderlines like this crazy, wicked witch have something to do with the Hawaii wildfire!! These crazy creatures keep stalking my accounts, as well as the "likes".
It is largely borderline-INFJ, especially 2w3 the emotionally-volatile and craziest one of them all!!!! That needs a horrific demise, with as much incredible suffering involved against that thing!!!
They will likely organize another terrorist attack on anti-Western nations, seemingly based on my online activities, e.g. which comments I "like". They will attack vulnerable anti-Western countries. First Nigeria, Niger and now Hawaii.
I KNOW THAT ENTP'S ARE INVOLVED! ENTP-NARCISSITS! AND THEY ARE EVEN HARASSING EGYPT AS WELL! WHY THEY HARASS EGYPT AS WELL?!!! I HOPE NOT!!! BUT THE CULPRITS ARE PREDOMINANTLY ENTPS (MOST ENTP LITERALLY, SECRETLY HAVE NARCISSITIC PERSONALITY DISORDER)!!! AND THE BORDERLINE-INFJ THAT ASSIST THEM, AND LIKELY LEAD THEM IS A EUROPEAN, BORDERLINE-INFJ FEMALE (LIKELY ENNEAGRAM 2W3)!!! THEY ARE LIKELY SEXUAL ASSOCIATES TO BOOT! AN ENTP-FEMALE LIKELY SHARED SOME DOCUMENTS OTHER ENTP-NARCISSITS/DEMONS!!! ENTPS CANNOT BE TRUSTED, THEY COMMUNICATE AMONGST THEMSELVES ABOUT SOME VERY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION!!! TRUSTING ENTP WITH PRIVATE INFO IS THE SAME AS MAKING IT PUBLIC!!!
*DO NOT ALLOW ENTP TO GET A MONOPOLY ON AI!!!! THAT IS APOCALYPTIC!!!!* OVER 75% OF ENTP SECRETLY HAVE NARCISSITIC PERSONALITY DISORDER, AND SINCE THEIR NEUROLOGY IS SOCIOPATHY, THIS MAKES THEM NATURALLY, AND PREDOMINANTLY COMORBID!!! THIS IS WHY ENTPS OFTEN AND RIGHTFULLY REGARDED AS THE DEVIL ITSELF!!!

THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T ASSOCIATE AND TRUST FUCKING ENTPS!!!! THE MAJORITY SECRETLY HAVE FUCKING NARCISSIST PERSONALITY DISORDER (THEY OFTEN MANAGE HOW PEOPLE VIEW THEM)!!! AN ENTP-FEMALE LEAKED THE DOCUMENTS TO OTHER ENTP'S!!!! ENTP'S ARE THE DEVIL!!!
      ___________
      *Hawaii wildfire*
Culprit: Likely Western BORDERLINE ("evil for the sake of evil" - this is BPD secret modus operandi).
More suffering is needed for female borderlines in particular; as they are exceedingly narcissistic/NPD, to boot (suspect: 'borderline-INFJ' female [likely Western], and their sexually-degenerate, hypersexual clients and computer-savvy associates). 2w3, borderline-INFJ is the emotionally-volatile and common suspect!
They know that the West is over, and they are covertly, concocting chaos towards anti-Western countries that are vulnerable. 'ENTP's' are undoubtedly involved (70-85% secretly have NPD, and ENTP are naturally sociopathic, albeit to varying degrees).
... First Nigeria, then Niger, now Hawaii? Where next?
These covert, Western-terrorists are clearly a global threat to the non-Western community.

It was my second time to be in Hawaii the first one being in Oahu and in both times I said to myself this Hawaii is the only place I would never get tired visiting and would come here every year if I had the financial wherewithal to do it. Former Maui Resident here. Maui used to have a yearly (or more) prescribed burn because they still had the sugar cane industry at that time. They had beautiful green grass fields of cane when the cane was young. Then on the proper time and day they would burn those leafy grasses off leaving behind the cane that they would cart off to the processing factories. Now no more prescribed burns. I have wondered if something like this would be the result of no more prescribed burns. I say bring the sugar cane back! Much better to be ready for and used to the burns. This is devastating.

I found that this part of the island gets very little rain, which surprised me, but I know nothing about Maui. Still, if it's that dry, it seems like they would want to control burn (or somehow get rid of) that dry grass. In a survival situation, that is EXACTLY what you want to start a fire! I wonder if we'll hear more about managing this so a tragedy like this is less likely to repeat. So very sad. Prayers for the survivors and the community.

To the people of Maui, I pray for strength and perseverance. I’m a former child a homelessness and not having a place to call home can be extremely traumatic. I urge everyone to be kind to the unsheltered bc homelessness can happen to anyone at any time. This is truly humbling.

They are mad (The 'elite") that their ENDLESS NARRATIVES are falling
apart. It's akin to a tyrannical king burning out the peasants for being

The scene looks like Paradise, CA forest fire happened just a few years ago. It is a war zone.

Looks like a targeted zone. Just like in northern california. Where fire captains having 40+ years of experience stated in interviews the things they saw there were never seen before (such a ceramic tiles of the roof literally on fire). And cars no where near structures almost melted into puddles. Not from a natural historical type of fire.
