  • Read⏬️Stop using tretinoin incorrectly. If you use it the wrong way it can compromise your skin barrier. But, if used the right way it can be most beneficial.
-A tret is more concentrated than a retinol & it acts faster where results are concerned. That’s why if used the wrong way the side effects can be equally severe. A tret is always prescription based & needs a doctor’s permission because it is based on your skin requirements. Once you get the go ahead, this effective cream is BRILLIANT for wrinkles, acne, sun damage, dark spots & most importantly improving skin texture!
    - I started using it once a week even on my scalp (according to my docs advice) because it does help to boost your hair growth serum, especially minoxidil based. Pea size amount only & it should be a spot treatment based on balding severity once a week not more. Follow up with a growth serum. Ask your doc about it before starting.
-This is the reason why one of the side effects a few have faced is facial hair growth & overdose of tret can lead to severe allergies, crusting, excessive redness. This isn’t pregnancy nor lactation friendly
-use it once a day( twice a week max) & only at night after washing your face with a non irritating face wash( I love @simpleskincareindia on the days I use tret. It is gentle & soap free.
-Always do a sandwich method with tret/retinol/retinoid...which is, 1st) you apply a ceramide cream, then a pea size amount of 0.025% (safer for beginners) tretinoin in the manner shown in this video (don’t forget neck, décolletage and back of your hands (Trust me , pea size is sufficient) & seal it again with the same moisturiser.
-Finish it off by using vaseline on the corners of your nostrils, eye area ,mouth, lips since they are prone to dryness bcoz of tret. You can even apply hyaluronic acid but avoid any other actives, harsh soaps or alcohol based skincare on the days you are using Tret & pls use a suncreen spf 50 the next day (A MUST)
IM USING TRETIN 0.025% FROM HEDGE & HEDGE PHRAMACEUTICA

It's about tretinoin, which is the active form of vit A. Retinol is the inactive form which is milder. It's not about Indian made or not. How can you mislead people that way? Tretinoin, foreign made, is also the same. It's prescription only. Empty vessels definitely make the most noise.

I use less than a pea sized amount of tretinoin and it has worked wonders for my skin. I use a light weight essence first, then tretinoin, then a moisturizer and I finish it off by slugging with Vaseline. The Vaseline has proved to be really important for me because without it, the tret makes my skin extremely dry. I was initially hesitant to try slugging because I have combination skin that is acne prone and vaseline is an occlusive that has the potential to be comedogenic. Thankfully, I didn't have any adverse reaction to the Vaseline. So if you find that tretinoin is making your skin really dry, try slugging with a thin layer of Vaseline. It might help.

You should be careful with using tretinoin on your scalp, it can penetrate very deeply through the scalp because the skin is very thin… tretinoin is dangerous if it gets absorbed into your bloodstream…
Another reason why it must be used under supervision of a doctor…

I keep seeing people, including the person who made this video, say that we shouldn't use it unless it's derm recommended. I was prescribed this by my dermatologist and doctors before. They take a minute to look and talk to you. Then say "use this", a "pea size ammount", "once a week to start and gradually increase", yea yea ok I did that. STILL GOT SIDE EFFECTS. JUST BECAUSE THE DERM/DOCTOR PRESCRIBED IT DOESNT MAKE IT SIDE EFFECT FREE. SOMEONE MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THE SIDE EFFECTS! And talk about how the friggen doctors don't give a damn if you get permanent damage, because they're making the buko $$ off you having issues AND YOUR SIDE EFFECTS. Yeah. I wouldn't use it ever again. If you want to risk permananet eye damage, hormonal imbalance, insomnia, potentially worse skin, go for it.

I just don't think you read theough the medication guide? She's not saying you won't get side effects, she's telling you how to reduce them. The purging is inevitable, it's bad for some for others it's mild, but it always happens, unless your skin is already great, then you don't need it anyway. She's trying to make sure nobody ruins their skin barrier, which is simple if you simply take responsibility for your care and do the research.

    • @herecomesapple
      @herecomesapple 3 месяца назад +1

@@jessmunguia5283 I've done the research. I'm aware it's "supposed" to exfoliate the skin, that's the whole point of using it. It's just not worth the risk when you can get permanent eye damage and it seems much more common than they state, for it to be just a side effect. They should list that on the packaging. "Can cause permanent eye damage". So people know that is a main side effect not just that there are side effects, all medications have side effects. Just this one is a bit more serious imo. After seeing several people comment they got permanent dry from using this, only putting it on the lower half of their face, using a moisturizer as the first layer, but now suffer from severe dry eye. That's pretty serious.

True using tretinoin with out dermatologist recommendations can cause severe bad acne in future because it depends on skin conditions and some time tretinoin can block your pores and then too much of sebum secretion can be clogged due to any reasons of acne such as hormonal issues and dietary changes or lactose intolerance and genetical acne this need to be treated in different way sometime skin is very sensitive so oral medication is required instead using tretinoin directly will form small hair follicles and comedonal blackheads or whiteheads which leads to severe bacterial infection and acne on skin..

That is 100% user error on your part.
It’s part of the instructions that you MUST wear sunscreen.
And if you put a patch right on top of any active, you are just concentrating the active more by not allowing it to dissipate off the skin naturally.
