    Interesting content .. think I have to invest in one of those QRM Eliminators.. 73s CT5060

      They dont work for everyone , depends what sort of noise you have and it can be quite difficult to null that noise out, you also need another antenna or a long piece of wire as a phase antenna. Some say they work others don't and if you can get one cheap enough it may be worth trying . Cheers

    hope to catch you on the radio again this Spring/Summer.

    Excellent Al be interesting to see the outcome of them antennas , last wknd was a blast , your live streams always go on longer than you intend Al . That’s because you’re down to earth guy . Question for you does the qrm eliminator reduce noise levels .

    • @Al.26TC101
      @Al.26TC101  8 месяцев назад

      Cheers, Im really looking forward to trying it. As for the eliminator I use it for hearing signals on my north side of the flat with a receive antenna only, I have done a video on that, but they can work depending on what causes the noise, it can be difficult to null the qrm or noise and how I have mine set up doesn't really work for me to get rid of noise and you have to play around with them to get it right, some say they work others don't. You do need a 2nd antenna or a long piece of wire as well.

    Great bit of kit them tank whips are Al, been using mine for 6 months on a triple mag mount and I can’t fault it. Been hunting through your playlists to find out what sdr you use. Can’t find anything so perhaps you can tell me as it’s something I’d like to try. Scott tc449

      Thats a map of all the Kiwi SDRs I use the Western Super mare one when I'm calling in on the AMC, it is pretty much the one in the middle and closest to Western, Hope that helps. Oh you can just zoom in on the one you want to use, click it and then set the parameters on the page.
