Hey good vid man! Thanks for showing the details on how to remove those bushings. This is something I need to do but have been putting off for quite some time.
Hey Bimmerbarn, how do the RTABs feel on this car? I have black powerflex RTAB bushings, I've been meaning to install them for 3 years now lol. Finally getting around to it and I'm doing some research on the RTABs. How did yours turn out?
@@TheBimmerBarn all you need a to even sand blast them or clean up with wire wheel best one is a bench mounted and just buy that blacking solution. All you need to do than just dip them in and they turn black and that is a very good anticorosion protection. In UK 🇬🇧 the solution is about £25 for a 1liter bottle. Just watch it on RUclips 🤣 really easy to do. And the results are brilliant
@@bartoszkotowski8281 trust my I love watching RUclips videos, I'll look into it! I want to get a bench wire wheel, definitely would let me clean stuff up faster. Thanks!
Dude! Your Killin me with the two wrenches. Take a deep well, cut it in the middle. Buy a piece of iron pipe about 24" long that is the same od as the socket of has an I'd that is the same as od of the socket. Weld em together. Bam! Sooper deep well for studds like that
There's plenty more options and bushings you can upgrade with Powerflex, but these two are definitely what I would recommend for your E46! Great upgrade. Thanks for watching!
Great video series on the rear sub assembly! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the front work.

To use your cup instead of washers turn the cup around and use it backwards.
Very nice upgrade, Chris! Regards Nico.
Thanks Nico! Can't wait to drive it now

I think you need to do something with this rusty nuts and bolts in this lovely matt black subframe. I recommend metal blacking solution

Does the ride suffer with the poly bushings? this is going to be a great driver
Not in my experience! You get tighter suspension, maybe slightly more road noise depending on your tire and shock setup.
