lmao hearing jorphdan struggle to pronounce the half-Arabic half-gibberish names of the noble genies is more fun than it should be.

Would be an interesting quest opportunity to start with a non-noble genie as a patron and at some point you have to help him gain power to continue leveling up. Id love some elemental intrigue.

I rolled a female warlock “desert elf” based on the look of Leetah from elf quest. I made her a dancer/ entertainer. Her patron is a lady effreeti lord. I love this type of patron for warlock.

Basically, the Genie warlock's relation to his patron is a semi-inverted version of the relationship between Aladdin and Genie in the Disney movie.

This genie pact makes the most sense for creating a warlock. I mean, it is not edgy as hell.

The DM's Guild Adept product Xanathar's Lost Notes to Everything Else has a Noble Genie Warlock that was based of the Sha'Ir that even has a Gen servant and spell fetching feature, it was released in 2017 but I think its still a great product with a lot of options.

Because of your lore videos, I was already wanting to make a Sha'ir PC. Thinking alike :)

In response to the Service level up mechanic, I think the 3rd party Grim-Hollow Campaign has a mechanic similar to that in response to the Vile Transformation mechanics that work like milestone leveling at the DM's discretion.

Genie warlocks offer so much shenanagins potential both mechanically and for story.

First one of your videos I've watched. I never knew any of this lore and it certainly makes a difference to my understanding of where the Noble Genie Patron is coming from. Thanks for the informative and entertaining video.

I've had some fun with the genie warlock water genasi...less of a normal patron, and more of his mother keeping an eye on him.

One of my groups has been playing in Zakhara for the last year, and I helped one of the other PCs make a genasi warlock with a genie patron. I’ll have to share this video with her and the DM. :)

I like to explain mechanical differences between additions as like refinements in the art of spellcraft or changes to how magic flows from the weave. Maybe the process of a genie familiar brining magic to a Sha'ir has just been refined and streamlined as the bond between the prime and the elemental planes has strengthened

Kolbold press has old one spells for more flavor on the warlock you mentioned at the end

Imagine the Greed a Green Half-Dragon with a Noble Dao warlock pact could possess.

I got my Genie to 20, she went with 14 genie and 6 order of scribes wizard. I went with an inheritor background and chose pact of the tome - with a little dm help I got to play a Sea Elf (1/4th Water genasi just for the flowy watery hair, figured it'd fit in with who her patron was ((great grandpa))
