You are incredible ! just can't believe my eyes ! you are an rc MASTER ! I was looking for some videos about the moa crawler ! and BAM 💥the moa you build ! it's a pure custom beauty ! and let me tell you something, you are also beautiful ! I'm going to subscribe right now ! ho my god ! just can't believe that ! 💙👍
That's really great what you've built there Erika. Here's a suggestion for you to consider - use channel 4, and the redundant stick, for independent rear wheel steer. Use channel 5 on a 3 position switch to vary the drag brake, or use channel 6 on the dial to vary the drag brake as you see fit on the fly.
I definitely could, Although I don't want to put rear steer on this rig since my shafty already has it and I don't feel like fishing out another 500 bucks for a second front axle. Also my RX only has 4 channels so I am a bit limited there but I will make it all work. Thanks for watching!
Man I just commented on one of your older videos dude I just got to say I'm so proud of you like that is so awesome to see the hard work you put in in like how smart and intelligent you are you you're definitely a child of God you can definitely tell he has put something amazing and you God bless you I'm as proud of you and so awesome so awesome to see young lady work so hard
Put your shocks upside down for lower center off cravety. And for a smaller footprint off esc's I use castle micro sidewinders. And smush them together resonlder the cables on the print. Is this a Berg? Greetings from Wim from Belgium
You're doing awesome 👍 as an old RC pilot that became a crawler... Really it's programming our brain not the controller. One of the hardest things I had to learn was how to use my rudder on my aircraft. Which is kind of like rear stear. Keep it up! You will have way more control with dual stick. Anybody drive with the steering wheel 😊😉
Thank you! I have a local supplier I get most of it from but there are a couple places on the web I have ordered from, onlinemetals being one of the better ones imo
Using a remote like that, seems so complex to use for a rock crawler, imo. So used to seeing them for the RC air planes or boats. I'd just use either a flysky system, or as I'm currently using, is a Spektrum DX5C, which would be better. But to each their own I guess. 😅😁 BTW, I'd probably use a smaller battery, maybe get away with mounting it somewhere, behind the front axle instead.
Yeah I couldn't tell you why exactly but I had my heart set on a dual stick for this one lol and yeah I am definitely going to get some smaller batteries once this thing is fully operational
I think you did right by going with a flight stick controller. I see a quite a few Superclass and MOA drivers using them so there must be a draw to the option of having two sticks. Do those have dual rate adjustability for steering and throttle? Very cool to see it run! Psyched to see it with the custom wheels and tires on it. Do you plan to compete with it or did you build it simply for the challenge?
Yeah it does, and so many other options too! One of the reasons I got it was because I knew I would be switching my 4ws shafty to it and if I build some of my other wild dreams from when I was younger I will need the switches lol. I built it because I have always dreamed of having one, that's it I guess haha
@@Hwy49RC Very cool. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next vid! It's even better that you just built this because you had an idea and have seen it through to this stage. Much respect!

I have never seen anyone modify a controler in my life didnt even know you could do such a thing this completely blew my mind 😮
It's a wonderful job.
I recommend shortening the wheelbase and changing the tires to 2.2 inch wheels.
Thanks! I don't think I am going to make it any shorter and I am going to be using 2.9 in wheels because it's so long

Pretty awesome👍💥
And very cool I didn't even know you could run one on that type of controller
Yep!

Well said! I have been practicing and it is getting more natural for sure
Another great video Erika. I love this thing. Has a ton of really neat features
Thanks!
Amazing rig. I'm looking forward to seeing a running video 😊
I'm just so blown away by your work man I guess you cutting machine that frame how long is that thing
Great work all around, any thoughts of anodizing the aluminum chassis. Nice finish move over that tree root to see its clearance and travel....
Thanks! I briefly thought about it but I think I will leave it as-is for now.
Awesome build all it needs now is some super class wheels to go with the super class chassis

Nice Work!
I really wish my kid was this interested in building stuff, well he graduated college so I guess I’ll have to wait for a grand kid!
Haha it's not for everyone, thanks for the support though!
I’d recommend getting some kapton tape to line metal parts you don’t want arching.
Just stumbled upon your channel. The name caught my attention lol. Im from Copperopolis.
Fair enough, cheers and happy rc'ing!
The rig looks hella fire
Man your a beast
Thanks haha
Great stuff where did you get all the stuff for your chassis

Did you escape from Area 51? You're way too skilled for your age, Don't worry your secret is safe with me ET.
Haha thanks I am so glad you enjoyed the series so much! Cheers!
I agree, you have incredible knowledge for your age.
Are you in an engineering program?
Where did you get the wire holder for soldering?
I got it on amain, they no longer sell it unfortunately but there are others like it
I would rotate your C hubs back more so your steering is more parallel to the ground. right now it looks like your turning towards the ground.
Yep, I rotated them back and gave it some positive caster in the latest episode
Lets go
Its looks amazing, more like a Rock Racer😅
2.2 all the difference in the world.
I'm going to be running 2.9" wheels on it actually
@@Hwy49RC NICE
@@Hwy49RC I just built a Bully 2, not near the MOA you have built but man they are fun to drive.
Why not portals?
I'm not aware of any portal MOA axles on the market right now, let alone this scale
What is MOA?
