- Hi Guys, so you know I love making and sharing my baby and kids hacks with you.... Well the other day when I was searching Pinterest I found a few new ones that I had never heard of, so I thought I'd try them out and see if they actually work or not.
Here are 6 different baby hacks tried and tested out on my children and there are a few great ones in here! (and also a few crazy and weird ones!)

Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I work in Marketing and PR but I am currently on maternity leave. I am focusing on my vlog while I am on maternity leave and I love it!
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for 7 years, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser is 6, Caleb is 3 and baby Jackson who was born in September!
Q: What camera do you use to film?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and Olympus Pen EPL7.
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.
Q: Where do you get music from?
A: Soundcloud and the RUclips Library.

This is the second video of yours that I have watched. I really enjoyed the first so I was a little alarmed with the first hack but after hearing your comments and own opinions on the hacks I can happily watch your videos again! 😊I agree with what you were saying and you seem like a really down to earth, sensible, lovely mum! The mesh bag would be good for everyone's socks! I swear I have a monster in the tumble dryer and it eats socks!! And possibly wanders at night and eat the lids for my Tupperware!! Great video!!

Try using a silicone brush to apply the diaper cream! Super easy to wild clean and you don't have to worry about scratching them with a fingernail
Baby sock idea in bag was brill!!
I actually only cut my sons nails when he is sleeping. And still do it now that he is 3, after bath time so they are soft. That one works well for my family.

When I do laundry for the family I use the little mesh bags for things like bras that have hooks that easily snag on things like sweaters and tear great holes in them.

The mesh garment bags are also great for washing bras so they don't get tangled or snagged on other laundry.

Love the sock one! I was just saying to my friend today I feel like I buy new socks for my little girl every week because they just disappear! 🙈 I'm also going to try the cutting the nails one, she hates having her nails cut too! Great video 😊 x
My son was a prem baby, they use the glove in the NICU, for prem babies, it helps them, as they are in the incubator all alone, my boy loved it! x
Mesh bag ideea was great . I'd get two ,one for whites and one for blacks :) love it
I have been doing the cutting nails thing whilst baby sleeps with all my kids, its the only way! I am going to try the socks in a mesh bag though, my youngest is now 8 months and I am constantly buying new socks to replace the lost ones! Thank you x

When I got a big bag of baby socks I made the mistake to wash all at once and without a mesh bag (that I already had for my bras) and not only did it take forever to find all of the socks, it also took so long to hang them all up. :D Now we just have a mesh bag hanging at the changing table (fixated with a peg) and throw all used socks in.
I wouldn't use the first hack either, as you said it's dangerous, they might bite into it and choke or it gets onto their faces and they can't take it off.

I used to draw on my babies faces with my finger while I cuddled them. Across the forehead and down the nose. And I would hum "What Child is This?". My Memére used to do that when I was little and I loved it.
The nail clipping when they were alseep is something I started with my first and swear by it!
If anyone doesn't want zinc on their hands/fingers just wrap a wipe/tissue over your finger then throw away. This way you can feel the amount of pressure you are applying and keep it gentle.

I love watching your videos they are always helpful. From your experience i have a question my daughter just turned 4 months now and still she would wake up every 2 hours or less and wouldn't nap for more than 45 mins max!! I don't know what I am doing wrong
I love the mesh bag hack! My son is due in a few weeks & I've bought 4 mesh bags like in this video for washing & drying his socks, mittens, hats and drool bibs. Hopefully it works and helps not lose any teeny tiny baby items! :-D
Great video Emily!I stroke my daughters face at bedtime, not for long maybe a minute or so but it works every time. I don't use a tissue (she would grab it) but I stroke her with the tips of my fingers and she loves it!! it sends her right off to sleep. Agree that hand is creepy. I suppose it could be nicer if it had some lavender in it too but not sure how safe it would be for a baby. where do people think these things up 😂 probably while they're sleep deprived!

A baby bum brush is made of rubber. Easily cleaned with a wipe, much safer than using your fingers, how much bacteria is on your hand? Do you wash before changing nappies?

My mom use to kind of pet our noses up to down and I'm assuming it would relax us and our eye would follow until we could no longer keep them open it's kinda like the tissue trick but less annoying I guess

im 4th. Emily can u do a video on your schedule showing us what u do at what time and how to stick to a schedule. i think u begin ur day quiet early and i really wonder how u do that with three kids. i would love it if u could do videos on 1. how to save time when uv got kids. 2. how to discipline your babies. 3. how to make your baby sleep through the night. 4. how to plan menu for the family and i think ill share the rest of the ideas later hun :-P love u . love to the boys...muaah.

Jacsons face with the tissue lol. The nail clipping is fantastic,Harry is ok with me doing his finger nails at the moment,but constantly screws his feet up which makes me very nervous as his toe nails are tiny. And the mesh bag I will be getting as I'm always losing small socks. Enjoy your holiday,Jackson has never felt the warm sun on him yet. Xx

Haha the hand idea made me laugh. The tissue trick was suggested to me a few times but it didn't make any difference. I better give the nail cutting a go, I struggle to do E's as she's always moving her hands about.

Nappy rash sprays are better. Boots do one which I use when I am out and about and keep in my nappy changing bag
my baby is due next month.. I ve been reading that the baby should always sleep on their back...but on the glove hack jackson was asleep upside down. Is it safe? your videos are sooo informative. you are my fav youtuber and I love you 😍😍😍

I've always been taught that babies should sleep on their backs but it's the second video I see where you show your baby sleeping and he's on this side or tummy down. Any particular reason for that? I'm curious :)
Wow my 3yo needs pitch black to sleep which sucks when we visit family bc no one else has black out blinds the foil/tape solution is a game changer!!!
So I have a question... I just now saw that your baby sleeps on his tummy and I've also seen other uk vloggers have their babies sleeping like that. I'm from Sweden and here, all the midwives say how important it is that your baby sleep on it's back, to avoid sudden infant death. Was just wondering if they say the same to you over there, but about the tummy instead? Haha weird question maybe, but I'm a new mum since just two weeks and I've been terrified of letting my little boy sleep in any other way than on his back, even though he clearly prefers to be on his tummy or even on his side. So yeah, I just wanted to hear what the midwives tell you. Love your videos Emiy, they're so helpful
I agree.. don’t let them sleep on their tummy. It is proven to increase sudden infant death.
