Excellent lecture. Very clear and succinct. I appreciate this video. Just finished my first course in linear algebra and beginning to research additional topics between semesters. This has been very eye opening. Anyone care to explain how functions are used as vectors? I'm a bit lost with e^x as a vector.

Does squaring both sides really prove the triangle inequality? For an algebraic equation, squaring both sides doesn't necessarily prove the equation.
