Keep and eye on all of the tubing on this trailer. I had a header trailer from this manufacture. After a year or so of use, the tubing started cracking around all the welds. The tubing was several gauge sizes too thin. We welding it and put gussets in but that just moved the cracks further away from the original joint. We replaced it with an US made unit after just three years of use. The US unit was higher priced but it also had 800 lbs. more steel in it when you compared shipping weights.
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Jesiah Jakob thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I load 2 bales at a time with a bale spear. I block the trailer tires to keep from pushing the trailer. Never needed the back bar with the spear, the bales come right off.
Trailer is awesome and such a huge money maker for your business. The home is coming along nicely. Super happy for you and thanks for letting us tag along.
Such a true statement when delivering to some Hay Buyers. You show up at their place and either they have tractor problems or they are slower than frozen molasses. Meanwhile you are left cooling your heels waiting. Great addition with that trailer. Dump, Take the Dough and Go baby. Time really IS Money
These trailers are awesome. I bought me one this summer the two biggest benefits are faster loading and faster unloading! It pays for itself just in time saved!
I've been eyeing those bale trailers myself. Just im not near that point yet. Still need to get a baler, rake and mower for my tractor. Also more land, but that will come in time.
Like the trailer but surly you would load it two bales at a time with a wider twin bale spike on the tractor. I find it amazing what you guys are allowed to pull with s pickup truck. In the uk that would only be legal if pulled with a tractor 😮
My uncle has that same trailer but it's blue and he puts a row on the top of the of the two stacks but you got to have a one of them attachments on the front that are on your tractor to move around bail from different from up and down attachment if you know what I'm talking about but great video congratulations on your new trailer
we got 2 of em... awesome trailers... one is 16 bale and the other is 14... the 14 is like yours with the tandem duals and full length sides withe the crank in the front and the other is triple axle single tire with 4 individual baskets with the crank in the back...
Great video! Congrats on getting the double hay trailer. It’s a life changer that’s for sure. Keep a close eye on your hub oil levels. Hard keeping seals from leaking. Wanting to convert mine to grease this year. Great video and keep them coming fam!
Easy swap to do. Nohing special required overall. I did the swap to my 40ft when i got it. Looks funny with pil level glasses and fill hole as i didnt want to hunt for the grease covering
Glad to see you get a dumping trailer, hopefully it works well and lasts long. We got 8 inches of snow here in Midland, Tx. We haven't seen that much in a while.
I had a customer come to load out with one of these trailers. After loading the 20 we put another 10 on top of that! What a monster load. I would not want to haul it...but I liked loading and selling the hay. These are tough trailers.
A customer I wrap for jacked one of these up hauling wet bales. I know the jack went kaput and I think he bent the gooseneck but he was pulling it with a Mack truck. Should work great for dry bales.
Now add you a Shocker air bag hitch on it.....I purchased one for my 37 foot PJ tandem dual flat bed was a drastic difference you actually don't realize you have a trailer back there.
I bought a mf 282 in 1984 the difference was 5000 dollars mexico made on one side of the river and us made on the other side they call the factories melcoldories it's all about labor hence you have to check material for your cost ps I'm still using the mf 282
The only things I don’t like about it is that you have to dump it from the front, I prefer it in the back with a foldable handle and that the cradles aren’t split in half. Smaller trailers are ok but with one that big it definitely makes it easier.
How do wet bearings hold up for you on a trailer after it sits for long periods of time without use? Just wondering, I had them on my fifth wheel trailer and had problems with dry bearings at the top. They were great as long as you did not sit around or I had to raise the axles and spin the wheels once a month. Went back to packed bearings which are serviced every 10,000 miles on 9,000 lb axles. Thanks
We had a 6 bale trailer like that years ago when we ran our cattle operation and it was a decent unit, lot of issues with the unloading mechanism on it which was different than the newer ones, but if we were going to be moving a lot of bales we’d hook up to a 32 ft flatbed and haul with it.
That is hard on an automatic transmission pushing from the rear like that. I turn my pickup to the left or right to take some of the force off the transmission.
I haul with a automatic dodge all the time. Just put it in neutral and put a block in front of truck duals and duals on the trailer. Can leave the truck running. Keeps ac cool and let's transmission cool down
It will be interesting to see if the rear behind the axels holds up over time. 8 bales behind them, to me, seems like to many. Otherwise it's a nice simple trailer 👌
I Definitely don’t dump one side the cradle twisted all to shit had to rebuild the one side. We haul 5x6 might be a little lighter with 4x5s don’t know ?
I bought one just like that one in a auction and the lights and the breaks didn't work because it was on auction it was as where is they wouldn't fix it
What is the overall size of the Barndo? Width/length/height of sidewall? Want to do something similar on my property. Also what is size/manufacture of the roll up door. Thanks for videos. Keep it up.
The barn is a 40x50 with 14 ft walls. The finish out will be a 20x30 area. Single bedroom and closet, bathroom, and kitchen with living room. Im not sure on the door manufacturer, but its a panel door with windows. It's a 14x12 and insulated. Pretty heavy dude and they installed a chain hoist roller upper doo hickey thing with it too.
If I have this correct, the dealer is called Champion Ranchers Construction in Hempstead tx. I believe its the only dealer that sells trailers in hempstead.
Weve a hauled around 60 thousand bales with the manual dump trailer put 6 or 7 new jacks on it, suspension system is shot needs replacing, other than great trailers
I bought one from that same guy in Hempstead big piece of junk spent more time working on it then using it . Cheap made I sold it and bought a way better built one . Good luck with yours
We seldom deliver because 90 percent of the time we cannot get in to where we they want it ..... Our Pasture/ hayfield Punch is made by Industrias America......Hay fields seem to do better....when punched just before they green up........

@Jesiah Jakob thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.

@Jesiah Jakob it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
@Avi Aron glad I could help :D
I’ve run these trailers in west Texas, and we used grapples and loaded from the side of the trailer. Saved transmissions on the pickups.
Was looking at it and my first thought was droplegs like on an irrigation reel to wedge the trailer and save the truck.
I load 2 bales at a time with a bale spear. I block the trailer tires to keep from pushing the trailer. Never needed the back bar with the spear, the bales come right off.
Weld a socket on the latch jack handle and use a impact to dump.
Trailer is awesome and such a huge money maker for your business. The home is coming along nicely. Super happy for you and thanks for letting us tag along.
These type of trailers are a time saver. Pride of the prairie is what Orin. Lot more steel and stability
Excellent review on the hay trailer. Definitely can put lots of weld on it for the price difference.
Looks built well enough for bales to me.
Such a true statement when delivering to some Hay Buyers. You show up at their place and either they have tractor problems or they are slower than frozen molasses. Thats a big 10-4
These trailers are awesome. I bought me one this summer the two biggest benefits are faster loading and faster unloading! It pays for itself just in time saved!
Thats a fact! We're glad we did
Nice trailer I am glad you told how much it cost, not to many people will tell that.
I've been eyeing those bale trailers myself. Just im not near that point yet. Still need to get a baler, rake and mower for my tractor. Also more land, but that will come in time.
It would've been higher on my list if i would've known how awesome it is
Like the trailer but surly you would load it two bales at a time with a wider twin bale spike on the tractor. I find it amazing what you guys are allowed to pull with s pickup truck. In the uk that would only be legal if pulled with a tractor 😮

Awesome looking hay trailer

That is one fine looking unit.
Definitely makes a one man band.
10:29 best reason for everything

@@brandoncaldwell95 just drain the oil and add grease?
Time is money Dan, that trailor is a time saver. Great investment for the business, Thanks fromGeorgian Bay.

I'm 1 he away what is the name of trailer co. Thanks
Nice trailer mate wish we could get those over here
Hay Boss Hydraulic locks one tire on each side to relieve the stress off your transmission.
A customer I wrap for jacked one of these up hauling wet bales. I know the jack went kaput and I think he bent the gooseneck but he was pulling it with a Mack truck. Should work great for dry bales.
Yea those wet bales get heavy! We don't see an issue with the bales we move
Now add you a Shocker air bag hitch on it.....I purchased one for my 37 foot PJ tandem dual flat bed was a drastic difference you actually don't realize you have a trailer back there.
Congrats on the new purchase. When your adding new equipment your business is growing!
We usually park our trucks perpendicular to the trailer to save the truck a little wear and tear
Need to put more reflective tape on it for driving at night.
I bought a mf 282 in 1984 the difference was 5000 dollars mexico made on one side of the river and us made on the other side they call the factories melcoldories it's all about labor hence you have to check material for your cost ps I'm still using the mf 282
Very nice videos keep up the good work I enjoy watching

Nice hay trailer big time saver
Need to rig up a 2-bale spear to load 2 at a time.

That is hard on an automatic transmission pushing from the rear like that. I turn my pickup to the left or right to take some of the force off the transmission.
I agree. This is a 6 speed manual
Parking brake should be used whenever you load or unload. Plus exercising the cable every once in awhile help keep things working
I haul with a automatic dodge all the time. Just put it in neutral and put a block in front of truck duals and duals on the trailer. Can leave the truck running. Keeps ac cool and let's transmission cool down
Won’t you need bigger axels?
Nice set up.😊😊😊
What are you doing for heating/a.c. in the shop?
a multi zone mini split unit.
Great video
It will be interesting to see if the rear behind the axels holds up over time. 8 bales behind them, to me, seems like to many. Otherwise it's a nice simple trailer 👌
I Definitely don’t dump one side the cradle twisted all to shit had to rebuild the one side. We haul 5x6 might be a little lighter with 4x5s don’t know ?
It’s literally a straight forward setup
I love the 80's
I have one that hauls nine bales lock your four wheel drive in and your truck will not slide
Great vid
I think you can put another row on top.
But then the top row would be in the way when dumping
How cold is a little chilli?its -12 here
I bought one just like that one in a auction and the lights and the breaks didn't work because it was on auction it was as where is they wouldn't fix it

Double barrel baby!!!
What’s up nice trailer
I have some serious trailer envy.
Do you get any issues with DPS for wide loads?
It's considered an implement of husbandry. Exempt for farm use .
Kool.
Very nice 👍
Wow that seems like a great price.
Need mobile home otter now with its mirrors
I wonder what that thing weighs loaded
Lol should of waited a few more minutes😂
LOL. Good deal!
Does this mean you’ll be hauling more hay home?
Yes it does
I think I see a way to haul 30 instead of 20.
Cool
What is the dealers name and town where you got the hay trailer?
If I have this correct, the dealer is called Champion Ranchers Construction in Hempstead tx. I believe its the only dealer that sells trailers in hempstead.
We have 2 trailers like that one manual dump one hydraulic dump, wont ever go back to jacks they wear out after a year or 2
I'll have to keep an eye on it!
Weve a hauled around 60 thousand bales with the manual dump trailer put 6 or 7 new jacks on it, suspension system is shot needs replacing, other than great trailers
What brand is that trailer? Dealerships? I have a Better built trailer same size as yours. I am from Alberta ,Canada
Why not haul with a semi? Seems exspemsive to haul anything with a pickup these days.
I bought one from that same guy in Hempstead big piece of junk spent more time working on it then using it . Cheap made I sold it and bought a way better built one . Good luck with yours
cool story brah
We seldom deliver because 90 percent of the time we cannot get in to where we they want it ..... Our Pasture/ hayfield Punch is made by Industrias America......Hay fields seem to do better....when punched just before they green up........
We're looking for an aerator as well
Your dad just went by my house
Did you wave?
Yes
Collect the money---then dump the hay---
Buy American
The music junked another video 👎👎💩
Is the trailer still holding up? I’m looking at getting one but the price has gone up a lot in 2 years
