The weaponizer Junkions are such great ideas, much more relevant than most figures with that gimmick. Legacy: Evolution is definitely going strong with the first wave, can’t wait for future reviews!
Scraphook, to me at least, seems the Junkion version of Ironhide, mainly because of the head and overall design having a war hardened veteran look to it.
So and for me, due to him being a towtruck, I see him as Planet Junk's old medic. He's the guy that is in charge of finding injured Junkions and getting them back together
The vehicle mode overall has a wicked Mad Max vibe to it, which meshes with the whole concept of the Junkions so well (in addition to being a movie which they've all probably seen)
I appreciate so much the fact that he can transform without removing parts. I avoided weaponizers like the plague because of their partsforming nature. I think this looks pretty great. 👍
Also, partforming isn't bad if doing right. Not to mention, robot mode of most Weaponizer is quite good because they aren't compromised by their alt mode. Just saying. As calling them a plague is overexaggerating considering the so-called plague you said were in TF G1 days.
@@duyphan4617 Well, it is my opinion and I'm allowed to have it. If I don't like something I don't have to buy it. So, I don't. lol Not to mention I have zero interest in G1 toys. So, telling me that it's been happening since then isn't going to make me like it. Starscream is my favorite character from the whole franchise, but I would never even consider buying any form of his G1 toy because it's a partsforming mess. 😂
I think the best way to display him weaponizing other figures would be to have each of the limbs be given to a different figure (preferably a bunch of figures each with different bright colors), give each one an accessory or two as well, and then have them all in an unruly attack formation. Then, take the body and have it being held up in the air by a stand, with blast effects on all of the limb ports, as well as maybe the portal effect PVP has being somehow around the middle of the body? You will be left with an awesome display of a colorful bunch of lads bashing some cons’, with Scraphook shooting off his limbs to power the others up!
Awesome video and posing as always Prime. Cool figure but I never got used to the whole detaching limbs thing, just feels a little weird for me. This figure does have potential for a LLOOTT of remakes tho. An Animated lockdown, a legacy version of RotB Scourge and battletrap, and of course more junkions. Lovely work ❤
PvP’s still photos and figure posing has gotten much better in the last few months! That said whoever at Hasbro decided to make a Transformer out of a Mad Max vehicle deserves a raise.
The fact that the junkions are weaponizers gives me hope Moonracer becomes a weaponizer as well Edit: pretty sure some people didn't watch the wfc show
Oh, what a day. What a lovely day! Legacy Evolution Scraphook looks awesome. From his molded Junkion design, to his truck crane mode, and being a weaponizer that doesn't partsform to transform. Looking forward to the review on Needlenose.
This is honestly the biggest bang for your buck ive seen in a long time with a deluxe. Not only does it not parts-form, but the accessories really make me excited for the other junkions to come out so we can quite literally create our own junkion!! Huge fan of Mad Max as well so I'll DEFINITELY pick this guy up. Awesome figure.
Went to Target today and saw the Tonka Devastator and at $105 it is the biggest ripoff. Figures look like knockoffs and the box barely weighs anything. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for it.
Cup o’ Energon says we’re gonna get Wreck-Gar Maybe even Nancy? Definitely more unlikely but would be cool to have a Legacy Evo Junkion-style Arcee figure!
10:34 me too I lover mater and you're a pixar cars fan? which cars movie is your favorite? And actually this looks like mater but Jack up or transformers bayverse version of mater
I want this guys so bad. It's so awesome and I can't wait to see more junkieon characters. I do have to ask though, what's with the long waits between bots? There's so much time between there literally releasing one per month.
In my opinion, that one's way better than all other WFCT-original moduleformers. Brunt's robot mode was just another unrelated IDW character, Slammer's alright, but nothing interesting. Modulators' robot modes are kinda stupid and look too much like drones. I'm not even talking about Fossilsizers. They are literally transforming skeletons, that makes no sense and gives them....well, skeletal bot modes. Scraphook here is way more interesting than every other original character Hasbro recently made in Deluxe class. Alternate mode combinations, those bits of movie aesthetic.... Delight
I would love to see this guy in a movie, considering rise of the beasts is going with a more offroad look for their vehicles, and the terrorcon vehicles having a full-on mad max look
They’ll just have the standard weaponizer function of breaking apart and combining with other figures but wouldn’t be surprised if they ultimately made different Junkions in the future!
Great review 👏🏻 This new vehicle mode is for humans to ride on. The 86 motorcycle mode is for other giant robots to ride on. For me the alt mode scales okay
This is such an awesome figure! I'm definitely getting this figure once he's out. I'm hoping the muscle car Junkion in the poster will be in Wave 2 of Legacy Evolution.
@@USDMXTHEPROEXPERT A Mad Max/Transformers crossover figure would be incredible!! Use the XB Falcon from the movie and call it "Interceptor" or something.

Honestly, I never cared for junkions (aside from TFA Wreck-Gar), but this thing is awesome! Also, I do prefer it as a deluxe, just like I would have liked Wreck-Gar to be... voyager is far too big for a motorcycle transformer!

And, one more thing: can you bring 1-2 Siege Micromasters to Hot Shot´s review when you do it? I want to see if you can peg them to his figure, even if none look like an helicopter.
This is a logical exploration of the Junkion concept. Why would they only be motorbikes? A scrappy array of modes makes sense. And we saw them as partsformers in the movie - they can pull themselves back together and what is to stop them from swapping parts. Maybe it happens accidentally and maybe that can be a source of slapstick humour. As for their colour scheme, you got me thinking, it's rather rusty, and what if Junkions were immune to rust plague? Scraphook design is so cool 😎, he does look like part of Transformers Dark of the Moon and Transformers Rise of the Beasts movie 🍿🎥, i love it 😁! Cannot wait another Juckion to come in Transformers Legacy Evolution 😊.
I'm not even that surprised that my seemingly favourite design in all of Legacy so far is the one where the design team got to make up their own.
It is a really cool design!

So true
just incredible
This might be the first deluxe in a long time I won’t mind paying the hiked prices for
I was thinking the same thing.
What about mernerva
Maybe Hot Shot as well, he looks so nostalgic and great it be impossible to pass up.
It's amazing that we get more brand new characters that people don't have nostalgia over.

why would moonracer be a weaponizer
Moonracer is a cybertronian car. Not a weaponizer.

Scraphook’s alt mode looks like something out of a Mad Max movie.

the vehicle mode is just like Twisted metal black Junkyard Dog if you played before 0:
That'd be such a great Crossover. I'm surprised third-party isn't all over that.
I've been passing up probably a majority of the Legacy like so far, but THIS is definitely a figure I'll be getting if I see him in stock!
You could use Scraphook's hook on either Earthrise Grapple or Legacy Roadhauler to add a bit more to the whole crane look
