You nailed the 'y' in the last attempt on 'fluffy', I really liked how neat it turned out.
But I was practicing along and found that I personally don't like doing it. Maybe it's just lack of practie, but it all looks wobbly, and the middle line shifts. For me the best solution for this overlap still is to increase the gap between the lines, but sometimes it feels wasteful and unbalanced. Thanks for the idea, I will play with it more!

@@stanthebadger thank you for commenting and good suggestions too. It’s when you are writing a story or script I want to write fast and neat. Problem is the descenders always run into the other words making them almost unreadable. If I can find a better solution I will post. Cheers. 🥂

Shortening the descenders, as you did with a few examples, perhaps by mistake, higher up on the page, could work well. Additionally, this is a great reason to use plain paper, rather than lined, as you can adjust line spacing to suit your eye as needed.

@@jayb____ excellent suggestion and valid too. I was thinking mainly on lined paper because I’m thinking along the line of students and fast writers in mind.

The letter that causes me the most heartburn is the F. It's fine if you are the only one reading the passage, or someone who knows your handwriting. I'm afraid that someone barely familiar with a cursive script may not be able to tell the f from b.
For someone who has to write at speed, it may be best to skip lines when there are descenders in the previous line. Yes, you'll burn through at twice the rate, but it will be easier to write. Unlined paper, as suggested above, is also a good alternative.
Thanks for making me think about this.

@@patw1687 I think I might of cracked the way I can write descenders and keep it readable. That will in the new video coming soon and that will contain capitals experimentation. Thanks for commenting and watching the vid.

I think that totally spoils the rythm and shape of cursive, making it even harder to read than if the ascenders and descenders crossed each other. All you have to do is think ahead and adjust the spacing ever so slightly so the descenders and ascenders do not run into each other. The samples of american business writing on IAMPETH are very useful reference.

@@wykpenguin thank you I will check that reference out, but I think I have cracked it myself and that’s coming in the next video with capital experimentation.
