Nice job on this! Appreciate the dialogue on the trails, I have been once, I need to go again. You're carrying some serious speed on this ride! Great job! 👍
Definitely my most ridden tails since it’s less than 30 minutes from the house! Copperhead is my fitness barometer just to gauge my fitness. I love the variety of the system. You can make it as hard or easy as you like. Time to work off the holiday sweets!
Thanks for posting this. I want to get back down there for a weekend and add one or two trail systems. When this weather breaks. Have fun snowboarding!
Rode Chicopee a few years ago. Great trails but I wouldn't say they are marked the best. Probably if you ride them often enough its not a problem but the layout can be confusing especially for first time riders of the trail systems at Chicopee. I ride mostly at Fort Yargo but would like to do Chicopee more often to get more familiar with the layout.
This is my local trail and the signage does need updating they are worn from weather so hard to read. Once you’ve ridden it a handful of times it’s no big deal very easy to navigate. Old school single track with tons of fun areas to jump or drop and doubles all over the place if you carry speed.
Granny's climb is a mofo! My go to is Village Trail (1 mile calm descent), white tail, flying squirrel then back on white tail to finish. Copperhead is good too.
Trails there in some areas are confusing af. Generally poor signage all around. Nothing I hate more than coming across intersections and having to stop and spend minutes trying to figure out which way to go

Thank you!!
Great riding. Your videos are always spot on
Thank you!!
Yes, I want to see snowboarding videos!

Same! I haven’t ridden Copperhead in so long. I’ll have to try riding it again soon!
One of my favorite trail

Definitely not easy to navigate if it’s your first time! It took me a min to get familiar with the whole trail system.
Great looking XC trails. I would ride that all the time if I were in the area!

Have you ridden the trails at Southside park in Forest park? They have some amazing rock work.
I haven’t yet! I’ll have to try and check it out.

I need to throw Cooperhead back in the rotation! I haven’t ridden it in so long!

Agreed, it’s definitely one of those trail systems that takes you a min to get everything figured out.
😎
E-mtb friendly? Nice riding.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s e-bike friendly.
No. The county doesn't allow ebikes, trail club has no sayso.
@@MorganBishopp bummer. Thanks.
@encoresurfacing84 thanks. That's too bad... well, for me.
First time chicopee riders go with someone familiar with the trails. Signage is old, wrong, misleading.
100%!
