this happened to me after cleaning the air intake manifold (had to disconnect the fuel lines from the pump to the injectors. It wouldn't start after that.) tried a tow start in 2nd gear for 2 minutes and still nothing. I'm getting desperate. :( everything was working fine before the cleaning.

Had the same problem, with the same car, same 2.2 DTI. There is air in your fuel system. You gotta find where the air is coming in

reset your car..disconnect your battery then connect and whew!start so good
Did your car go in safe mode aswell?
100% Mass air flow sensor. Disconect air flow plug and then try to start. you will see

with that screw.Or you just screw tightened it harder.

If it was fuel pump, I believe it would not start as it did in the end of the video...
