Perhaps you should demonstrate the power that gives you such confidence and we will see who is fit to be supreme ruler, and who.... IS DEAD! So badass.

@@than7831 it is a master piece and the 2nd part Eternal Blue was also amazing. Specially since it gave Ghaleon a redemption arc. Dude wasnt technically all that bad. In his twisted mind he wanted what was best for everyone. He just had a weird way of doing things.
Anyone else think it's a bit weird to request at the goddess who is currently brainwashed and under the control of the guy you're fight to lead you her power?
I love how all bosses in this game were based on Alex's LV. Unlike some other games all bosses in this one were decently challenging, except those like the stupid Vile Crustacean, took me forever to beat him.
Well I just beat Ghaleon today which took FOREVER. Only to die while walk up the steps to save Luna because I didn't know I had to play the instrument. UGHH!!!!!! The rage quit was real.
Oh god tell me. I cheated the first time I played the game yearrsssss ago. And couldn't realize 'why..in the blue hell, am I dying!?' Then someone, trying 'every...single...item..' Playing the song is what does it.
that happened to me in the sega cd version. it really would have been neat to fight her as the true final boss with the harp only being a plot device at the end of the batyle.
Con un buen nivel no es tan difícil pero si vas derechito si necesitas muchos ítems para hacerle daño al desglaseado. De los mejores rpg de mi infancia y vandall hearts 2 de lujo ❤
Just played this game again on iOS and still had a tough time with Ghaleon even with my characters at level 49! Tough fight if he SPAMs inferno/nitro dagger.
Samuel Johnson the only way to do that is to have Alex run from battle, considering he’s in your party the whole game. Sort of defeats the fun, doesn’t it?
@@RobertSStein Gotcha. Unfortunately I'm team Android. Any way to download it for Android users? I tried an emulator and there was a glitch when you had to change disc. Never made it to the frontier lol. I don't want to dig for my ps1
Oh man what is it with RPGs from back then it always has you in some convoluted way to beat the bosses then in order to use that convoluted way to defeat said bosses it takes you nearly an hour to do it! Though I wouldn't change that for the world those kind of made it fun if aggravating. Lol
In the Sega CD version he was a straight up traitor. In the novelization that followed this he was given more nuance, saying before the final battle, "Let's see which of us saves the world." Then the GBA version came along, and just made him an evil asshole again (only with a pro-secular bent from the writers, with being framed as a battle between men and gods rather than opposing higher ideals), while forgetting to remove and even adding a couple 'pet the dog' moments of his.
John Truit as Ghaleon is one of the greatest characters and villains of all time and Go Go Go! Is among the best Boss/Final Boss music as well.
Sephiroth wouldnt exist without Ghaleon
words can't describe how much I miss good quality rpg's like lunar. at least the tales series is also fantastic
Perhaps you should demonstrate the power that gives you such confidence and we will see who is fit to be supreme ruler, and who.... IS DEAD!
So badass.
And then you see the consequences of her decision in Lunar 2.

(YuGiOh.exe has failed)
Never thought I'd see this masterpiece of a game again. No one knows what the fuck Lunar is anymore.
I just started a replay on ps1 a few days ago.. just can't resist the magical charm that is anything and everything Lunar!
This is the first game I ever played, there's no way I'll forget this masterpiece although it's quite saddening that not a lot of people knows Lunar

I never get tired of hearing him say that….somehow….decades later
Amazing game. Really wish Studio Alex were still around.

Athena, I know it's not the best time right now, but uh... LEND ME YOUR POWERRRR
Good LORD Ghaleon was TOUGH! Zophar’s fight was long and challenging...but this was one was TOOUUUGGHHH!!!
John Truitt you will always be the best ghaleon
Wow this is amazing compared to the Gameboy advance version
Hated this fight as a kid. Love the theme, dat bass line.
Guess what time it is...
Time To Die
Uhm..dodge THIS?! 🤣 just kidding!
7:53 AM pacific time
Ghaleon's HP is based on Alex's LV. I was able to beat Ghaleon by keeping Alex at a lower LV compared to the other characters.
Sharon Chua haha true but having Alex run to keep his level down is no fun
I love how all bosses in this game were based on Alex's LV. Unlike some other games all bosses in this one were decently challenging, except those like the stupid Vile Crustacean, took me forever to beat him.
It's capped at lv50. So another way is to grind until you have +lv60 or something.
One of the hardest boss fights of my life when I was a kid.
Awww the sprites are so freaking cute
this sounds fun because it has *voiceovers!*
I love how Nall is just chillin'
Why can't we get this in a faithful multiple season anime adaption.
Bah! Dragonboy and his goons just got lucky!
Man, how tragic would it have been if Alex had stepped into Althena's aura and been disintegrated?
CHECK THIS OUT!!!!!!!

You can actually save the game after you beat him so if you died but saved the game you don't have to fight ghaleon again.
that happened to me in the sega cd version. it really would have been neat to fight her as the true final boss with the harp only being a plot device at the end of the batyle.

Adoro esse jogo.

As suggested Ghaleon's HP is based on Alex's LV. You could easily beat Ghaleon by keeping Alex's LV lower than the other characters.
Samuel Johnson the only way to do that is to have Alex run from battle, considering he’s in your party the whole game. Sort of defeats the fun, doesn’t it?
How'd you download it on your phone?
Zack Torrence iOS. Available for iPhone

This battle was just so goddamn LONG!!!!
Just like my ego!
just like my dic-
*time to die*
Patrick H as should be, kids these days are spoiled rotten for how easy some games are
After finishing the battle, i didn't save and i didn't play the ocarina before going to Althena which gave me a game over and it made me scream.

Maybe it's just me, but Ghaleon here was quite comparable to The Emperor of Final Fantasy 2. Both in terms of mannerisms and magic
I never knew luna had white panties until now after more than 20 years of finishing the game.

I need to complete this game
18:56 wow, watch out that cough buddy, could be coronavirus...
High Key Ghaleon made some very good points
9:08 eeeaaaahhh!
9:12 eeeerrrr kyaaah!
Mad evil emperor song
I fought Ghaleon at level 65 and beat him within 5 minutes. Haha, I guess I overlevelled....
Zophar is much more powerful then Ghaleon in Lunar 2.
I also beat him at exactly level 46
Such awful repetitive voice acting, especially during the battle is so annoying. Glad that PSP version exist.
"Time to DIE"
Didn’t have it in the Saturn version at all so I guess it was added for the PlayStation version
