You know one of the most thrilling things about El Estepario Siberiano? Somewhere out there is some 10-13 year old being inspired by him who will evolve his speed and technique to even crazier levels. Where will drumming be in 20 years?
That’s SUCH an excellent point!! Holy Mary of all that is SACRED…. I’m here stuck thinking that he will be the best there ever will be… until you put into my mind that a young child will be inspired from his epicness and become something even greater… I CAN’T even imagine what that would be like 😆
He's definitely taking drumming to a higher level. Neil Peart did this as others after him surpassed him. Bravo to the next trend setter! Bravo to EES!
Great reaction, your point of view is invaluable for me. Thank you for doing this. Love Jorge, he is amazing. He is not only a great drummer/ percussionist, he has an insane level of musicality.
Finally a drummer who explains in words I understand... "Oh he's going bom-tsch-tsch and then a tsch, I see".. I can understand all that. Not all that lingo about doing caramel stacchiatos or whatever
Well, I'm self taught and never learned the proper terms myself. My entire career as a session drummer consisted of absorbing everything I saw and learning to imitate and implement it in my own style. So, imitating the sounds is the best way I can describe it. 😁
It’s so satisfying to see your reaction and observations mirror my own… I also think about the breadth of his control when scratching the snares, knowing just how easy it is to put a stick through the thin head if you hit it too hard. Thanks for sharing this with us.
One thing that really impresses me about Jorge is how still his head and body are no matter how fast he plays. He's the most relaxed drummer I've ever witnessed.
Agreed, and his touch and variations between power and subtil and careful touch on the reverse snaredrum shows awesome control. Playing this way, and up to the song, the rythmic of other instruments and the vocals, not missing a beat is just way out there! So many things to focus on, and that "shadow beat" on the snare on the floor controlled with a pedal is one of the details that escapes me. Can't even understand it's place in the beat and that, included other details makes my head spin! What a drummer, what a musician and what a creative soul and immaculate performer.
@@coversandcommentary Thats right, he seriously needs a foot cam :) I`ve asked a few times on his videos what he is doing with his left or right foot or what item he is using on this pedal, etc. And he was always so kind to respond and answer. El Estepario is an awesome guy in many ways.
IMO the best reaction videos are ones from people who have a great understanding of what the person is doing and can explain the difficulties and nuances of what we’re seeing. Otherwise it’s just people saying “wooah… oh that’s cool… ooo he just hit that one shiny copper plate thing super fast with 2 of those sticks!”
Thank you for reacting to this. Went to your channel, and surprised you haven't reacted to Rick Allen 'The Thunder God' from Def Leppard or Danny Carey 'The Octopus' from Tool yet. Both absolutely incredible drummers.
Your reactions are very similar to how I react when I'm watching Paul Gilbert or Steve Vai or any other number of guitar players that have taken it to a level that should not be possible. That thing that he does on the steel drum doing toxicity, that's got to be fake. I've never heard that instrument sound that way before. I've caught myself watching his videos and looking for signs that what I'm really seeing is an extremely advanced computer program that Looks so real that the idea that it's not doesn't even enter your mind. I would love to see Geddy and Alex do a reaction to this guy's drumming.
and u heard of his handpan, he also made a tubulum, im not a fan of it, except when he plays it. check it out, and also a video u must see, his bongo song.
please react to anderson .Paak npr session, i just got this channel from watching the chad reacts and absolutely loved it!!! thank you for all the breakdown as a drummer
em was juice wrlds idial when juice wrld made this song before his passing juice wrld says ima feed ya to the monster hes referring to eminem as Godzilla 🦖🔥
He doesn’t have his covers on iTunes or Spotify yet. He did say about a month ago that he’s looking into it. Definitely check out his hand pan stuff, mind blowing
i still say practice will only get you so far yes it will make you a good drummer or musician and with enough it will make you very very good but to reach a level like his take's something that cannot be taught or practiced, just like Tina S and her guitar covers yes other people do the same but they are just not there.. if you know what i mean..
Most drummers are at a much lower level of ability early in their career then advance to a higher level later. EES is at a higher level that that early in his career.
Unfortunately, this is a music analytic and commentary channel. The good thing is that I did link the original video in the description. So if my analysis isn’t to you liking, you can watch the original video without my commentary 😁
Hi, liked your review and do have one minor comment, for this video it is too late but your mic volume is correct but the music is too low. I'm trying to listen to all the things you caught, like the snare on the floor and then your voice comes on blasting my neighbors. Still enjoyed the video and my neighbors say hi...
I have to play with the levels from video to video. I try to mix them in a way that sounds balanced when I edit, but sometimes it just doesn’t come across once RUclips is done with compressing it. Sorry
The guy is like a precision drum machine. His ability is inhuman. He's always saying "Just practice!" Which is sound advice, but the same amount of hours of practice a day wont yield the same result for every person. That's just reality. That being said, his style of playing tends to favor showing off his ability, which is understandable, but some times comes at the cost of the song he's covering. May as well just forgo the song and play. Though in fairness, I haven't seen him with a band.

This comment should get thousands of likes!
Check out his handpan playing
I really love your reaction and the way you break down drumming techniques. Please keep them videos coming ❤

Love your ractions man 👍 nice to see a drummer break down what he's actually doing

he punches the hell out of his kit, has his own brand now, Legend.

That Mario Bros light in the background is dope!
the funny thing with Sibariano's drumming is, you have to watch it to get everything whats going on.
Just listening we would miss half of it. 😂
Even watching it I almost missed the snare on the ground with a kick pedal on it!
You have to watch and listen to EES a couple of times...then you fully appreciate what he's doing ☺️🤟

this god we know as EES, practised for 20 days to get this. i love how relaxed he is, u can see him singing, enjoying what he does.
For the high-hat triplets, it's sped up in his left side to count in 16th note settings to not be off beat otherwise.
Yes it's incredible
Am I wrong or was he doing 32nds on the double kick? Because that was insane!

The work and dedication are obvious!
you should react " el estipario 4 pedals" he is insane
I never thought someone can match Eminem's lyrical prowess....with drums.
This is a true reaction video looking at you . Loving the soul eater t shirt bro.
those Varus drums are pretty sweet, they even sell an El Estepario kit
Look like he hit drum and snare with one hand 2 stick at same time😮
best drummer in 50 years need i say more all genre s god level sss+ rank the
Great reaction, toxicity with the handpan will blow your mine...
I felt the same way! He's a beast.
Buen trabajo!! Un saludo desde Valencia
His drum hits are reminiscent of Buddy Rich.
Your reaction is awesome !!!! Cheers !!!!
Thank you for reacting to this.

He’s an expert Cajon player also.
handpan yep crazy

Is limp dependence is insane. Also his level of being into what he does. He just goes off. He can’t even read sheet music. At all.
Love the reaction.
Bro not going to Lei but I was so confused on who to hear m or him is to crazy 😂😂😂
You need to do reactions to his metronome videos, they’re freaking crazy

Those snare bounces are gravity blasts or freehand techniques.
please react to anderson .Paak npr session, i just got this channel from watching the chad reacts and absolutely loved it!!! thank you for all the breakdown as a drummer
He also covered The Thriller Micheal Jackson’s,I love that, love to see you react to that one?

Bro, your facial expression is priceless 🤣👍
"This guy looks jacked as hell!" Yeah, like Matt Garstka except he can't vote here. Both amazing talents!
Have you seen El Estepario’s band? It’s called The cost. It’s pretty good. I kind of wish the lead singer had more of a growl to his singing voice
I’ve seen one of their songs already and this Friday should be their newest one! 👍
Wow 😍 very nice😮
He doesn’t have his covers on iTunes or Spotify yet. He did say about a month ago that he’s looking into it.

You should check the video of Zack Grooves playing Architects!

He's actually a robot, Elon's Alpha 1 drummer.
Great reaction :) Check out El Esteparios one handed drum compilation if you haven't

Practice as many hours as you want and you'll never get to his level. Just sayin'.
React on his 1hand short video compilation
Hi, his nights of cydonia cover is amazing, please check it
11:49 you missed his fast trick
@7:32 I hit my head on the wall behind me, you did it better.
Less talk is more

Is he the reason there is an increasing number of drum kits for sale on FB Marketplace?
IDk, but he's definitely the reason my drum kit needs new drum heads!

Es un baterista profesional fue miembro de una banda de metal española SARATOGA.
Friendly advice. Arrow keys moves the video in small increments, "K" is Play/Pause. Don't leave it up to DPI!

I cannot be the only one that thinks those left-pedal snare kicks are late... am I missing something?
I do love how you simply said ... WTF I cant get this at all =P
