I remember a French comic called WaoW (which is extremely funny and well written, too bad it wasn't translated in English and it's production was cut short I'll elaborate on that only if anyone is interested) and at one point there was a gag where a warrior wanted to try drinking a mana potion and only got diarrhea out of it. 😂
You're very welcome! Yeah I saw some of those in my research, like I saw Moonguards wiki had a big list of Herbs and their effects and lore behind them that were specific to Moonguard, super cool.
I genuinely had no idea of the concept of Bloodthistle! So cool man, especially the Withdrawal mechanic. I've done that quest a million times in TBC and just never realized haha sounds like Kratom to me.
I helped that old orc at the ruby life pools thinking he was napping because he couldn't get restful sleep due to his pain and finally got some relief. I didn't know he passed away😢
Yeah poor guy, his story is actually really interesting. The story continues if you go back there, as it was a weekly quest chain for a few weeks during DF. You should totally check it out :)
You're completely right haha, I was saying queldorei which sounded like I was saying kaldorei, but you're completely correct, quel'dorei would be High elves and not blood elves, whoops! But I suppose they could have also been using bloodthistle since before they decided to become Blood Elves.
@@StormwindUniversity Ah! I suppose Quel'dorei and Sin'dorei are technically the same race, IIRC the name change was to honor the fallen. The plant is native to Eversong, so I assuming it would've always been used, although it does fit more with the original hedonism aspect that they went with, with the Sin'dorei. (It has been quite diminished now)
I know its not a something that would normaly try to "use", but I am surprised you didn't give a honorable mention to Mushroom forests of Draenor (namely the red one)
Missing Bloodspore from the Borean Tundra. It's basically lichen-speed When you fight the bloodspore snowbolds (..>Or was it the Moths? or both?) you get a stacking "De"buff that gives you LUDICROUS haste, but then stuns you at 5 or 10 stacks.
Was just about to mention the Bloodspore as well, before I saw this comment. There's a bunch of other missing stuff like the magic mushrooms in the cooking daily in Thunder Bluff, too.
If anyone was on Bloodsail Buccaneers at the start of TBC classic they would recognize that one guy in LFG extolling the evils of abusing felweed. I suppose they were onto something.
Dwarves do seem resitant to smoke damage (See, Ironforge and shadowforge being around lava pits) and love smoking damn near anything from tobacco to lakeweeds to random mushrooms.
I want to try the hookahs in Ogrimmar, but since I play a Night Elf, things would get awkward pretty quick. I suppose I could do it with my goblin, but then it doesn't sound as exciting.
its dumb because there is a closer analogue to cannabis in wow as well - bloodthistle! but i suppose its harder to get around the southern EK & kalimdor.
Thank you! I wanted to try to dig into most of the stuff that hadn't been covered before, I think I saw a few people couple peacebloom a few years ago.
@@StormwindUniversity Yeah I just find the idea of people using Peacebloom as cannabis funny because Peacebloom has no effect when smoked. Its actually a herb people can drink or use for salves that supports healing
"Hey man.. I think you should take it easy on those mana potions."
"Don't tell me what to do!!"
"You're a warrior."

Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thanks for this! It's a great resource for RPers. Though, some of us homebrew other herbs also having these effects as well.
You're very welcome! Yeah I saw some of those in my research, like I saw Moonguards wiki had a big list of Herbs and their effects and lore behind them that were specific to Moonguard, super cool.
If I see another RP'er talking about getting off their face on felweed again I'm gonna scream

Kratom is great, got me off the harder shit but there’s definitely still withdrawals

Great video, correction though - Blood Elves are called "sin'dorei" not "kaldorei".

Medicines can be used as a poison and vice versa. Just depends on the dosage and the use of it.
Yeess! This is what i'm looking for!!
sub'd before even watching
if they ever do new quests in westfall it would be really funny if they spoofed the simpsons and had a vendor that sold tomacco
i just became your 1000th subscriber good sir

Good news! There's a hookah in Amirdrassil.
Swiftthistle tea should probably count.
OK the Horde are a Bunch of addicts.
dont take, dont take, dont take. which ones CAN i take?
I love you already for not including Peacebloom. Because in WoW roleplay people use Peacebloom as,, well, cannabis. Its so ridiculous.
