At a guess, if the other robber is alive, they're taking the major charges and you can probably swing a sentence of "Intent to commit Bank Theft," probably by a fancier name like Grand Larceny or Grand Theft, I'm not gonna scrub the conditions of the crimes to check, but the point is you only *wanted* to do crimes, but thanks to that stupid other jerk you didn't *get to* do crimes, so you should only be eligible for trying to and failing. If the other robber died and a cop got injured, you're done. Ain't no court in America that's gonna lean in your favor, because *someone* is taking the public fall for this, and the other guy is dead. Retribution is a hell of a drug. Lastly just to cover all the bases, if you went to the bank with intent to do bank stuff that is legal and not criminal because it is legal, then nah, that wasn't your fault, don't feel bad about it. It was that yelling guy with the gun, he did it.
