I was just about to comment the same thing about how disgusting that whole thing is. Hearing what all he said about that little boy- it made me tear up. How can people so awful? I don’t have kids but I cannot imagine how broken that girl’s heart is. Truly devastating.

My first job after leaving school, a long time ago, was in a shop. A teenage glue sniffer used to come in, eyes klagged up, face covered in blotches, barely able to speak. The first time I saw her, I thought she was ill and asked if she was ok. She just mumbled. I found out that she sniffed glue because on my way home, I'd pass her and her friends sitting in a corner of the precint with their plastic bags.
She vanished for about six months. When she came into the shop again, she had clear skin and eyes and a spring in her step. I asked how she was, and she said, "I'm absolutely fine, thanks." I never saw her again and have often wondered if she came in to let me know she really was ok after all.

Me too, heroin is hard to get off of. My mother has been an addict for over 20 years. I was born addicted and I was less important to her than drugs. I’m glad that woman got her life together and stepped up, I’ve seen the damage first hand that it can cause.

It doesn’t happen often, but my blood ran cold at Zachary Davis’ voice. I wasn’t expecting him to sound so... inhuman. The way he moves his mouth didn’t help anything either.

It’s crazy that these children who act out aren’t like looked into more. Children don’t usually just start jumping into streets to die or biting people. These kids are going through or have went through something and don’t know how and where to place their anger about it.
The real reasons why this kids are out of control are usually because something is happening behind closed doors
Possibly but not necessarily- the doctor specifically mentions Aneska's out-of-whack brain chemistry. This alone can cause out-of-control behavior in such children. Heard of oppositional defiance disorder?
Such situations warrant a closer look, but aren't always the case of trauma/abuse, and it's not fair to assume the worst about their parents.

I hate how dr phil barely looks at the parents. With danielle bregoli, he completely ignored that her mother was yelling, swearing, calling danielle all the names in the book and probably hitting danielle back while fighting. Another 'out of controll' teen wasnt allowed contact with her friends and was being watched by her grandparents 24/7 because she smoked weed and was sexting. I agree that those arent things you should do as a 15 year old, but the punishment is way to extreme. They should've looked in why she was smoking since it has a lot to do with mental health, and have an open conversation about the dangers of sexting. Instead they went to dr phil, who completely ignored the parents behavior, and showed her nudes full screen with a little of it blurred out.
Parents definitely can contribute. It goes both ways and is totally a case-by-case basis. I absolutely don't believe in locking your teen in their room and monitoring their every movement. In some of the younger children's cases though, it seems to be a matter of something being biochemically wrong/imbalanced in their brains. Sexting and smoking weed are normal teen behaviors, whereas threatening suicide is not something that would even occur to most six years olds.
And Dr. Phil caters the way he handles cases to television ratings rather than to truly helping people
My dad is a paranoid schizophrenic and it is such a hard thing to witness. I have a family and seeing him go thru it alonw hurts me so i do my best to help

I totally agree, like Gerry Springer it started off normal but is just bizarre if not totally fake.
I partially agree with this, in the sense that it is a television show and does (likely) rely on ratings (I assume that because of the way they edit their clips). I think Dr. Phil is well above Jerry Springer though because he educates laypeople about a large array of issues that people face all the time, and how to go about recognizing and seeking help for said issues. Also that his intention includes removing the stigma around mental health and wellness so that people can learn to feel comfortable being open about it, thus are more willing and comfortable to seek help if they need it, thereby improving the future of mankind.
Dr. Phil's message: We are all human. We face struggles. We can become overwhelmed. We make mistakes. That's okay, but we have a lot more power than we realize, and we Can change our perceptions/behaviors/choices/paths, with genuine effort and professional aid. Sometimes it's a chemical imbalance or neurological issue we face. That's okay, because it's okay to acknowledge that we need help and to seek that help when we do. Mental wellness is just as important as physical, because everything is connected and there is a cause-effect relationship between brain/mind/psyche, and the body. You are never alone. Let's respect each other, hear each other, help each other, take care of each other.

Ashley the digital kidnapper was creepy! I fully believe that at some point she would of tried to abduct the girls to make her story real if she was backed into a corner. The way she lied when confronted with 100% proof of her lies was scary!
I hope the mom did something different with her hair after the show.
I would have shut down all of my social media if I was that mom. Anything you post online has the potential to be found and used by someone else.

As a matter of fact he actually got kicked off the set by Dr. Phil just because of how full of himself he was and with that in mind, just how rude he was to everyone. Especially towards his own Mother. He actually had to come back for a 2nd appearance with a somewhat apology but that one dude that leaves me flabbergasted.

I'm 63yo, and I have a pretty typical list of physical issues experienced - from the usual cuts/scrapes/bruises to surgeries for a broken bone, a torn knee meniscus, and narrowing of the spinal canal, nothing - NOTHING - is as bad as CLINICAL depression. It is NOT being bummed out for awhile. It is a heavy cloud over you brought on by improper chemical transference across synapses. It affects EVERY SINGLE aspect of life - mental, physical, emotional. People don't understand at times, but it's not something you can just "get over." It took me a couple years of medicines, support from family/friends and professional therapy to put it in the background of my mind.

In the episode with Bailey (honorable mention), there's a really creepy moment when Dr. Phil calls her out on her melodrama. She is "crying" and he mentions that he would normally offer her a handkerchief, but she doesn't have any tears. She realizes he's on to her act, and for a second, her sweet but troubled girl mask slips. She gives him a truly murderous look. A few seconds pass and then her mask is back in place.
I honestly feel bad for the Burke guy, even though he puts on a brave face you can still tell that he's hurt on the inside, and it's just ridiculous that people make fun of him for that

I watched the complete police interrogation of Zachary Davis on RUclips a little while ago and it is so bone-chilling scary how his demeanor was and how he was talking just everything about him was unbelievably creepy it was just really hard to watch

I have a relative like Patricia. She told me that she had to have a hysterectomy because she had cancer. But she didn’t have to do any radiation nor an chemo and she was able to recover in about 2 days…and not to talk to her husband about it because it’s too upsetting.
It isn’t so much that I think the marital/sexual relationship of the “thruple” is wrong, it’s just that I think the three individuals involved are really, really creepy.

The women who thinks she is pregnant, isn't that called a hysterical pregnancy. I went through it too. I kept telling the doctor for 6 months I was pregnant and they kept telling me I wasn't pregnant. I left that state and went to another state for them to tell me I wasn't pregnant. These was just with a urine test. One Dr want to prove to me I wasn't pregnant by giving me a vaginal ultrasound and found out I was indeed pregnant and was 6 months. I had what they call a false negative pregnancy and I it went all the way till 9 months with a false negative and he is in his 40's. I also had one tube removed and the next month got pregnant and he is 36. And with only one tube and it being clipped burnt and tied had another child with it still being tied and she is 35. That is what you would call miracle babies
I was told id never have kids as I don't produce enough hormone to keep baby so usually misscarry by 12 weeks, however im also highly fertile and get pregnant very easy even on contraception I've had 13 pregnancies all on contraception and 2 children who were very premature one at 31 weeks he was 3lb10oz and one at 26 weeks she was 1lb12oz. I also have never had a positive pregnacy test result when I was getting ready for a c section with my first I was to have a test done to proove I was pregnant not sure why they had to do this but it was the rules, I told them there was no point as it will be negative well they didn't believe until after they did eight tests all came back negative lol another side effect to not producing enough hormone is I never had any of the usual pregnancy issues like morning sickness, and cravings etc, but I was threatening to miss carry from six weeks and spent pretty much my full pregnancies in hospital thankfully both the kids are fine and are now adults 😊
This may have been brought up by others, but it seems to me that the way Dr. Phil should have dealt with Tyler Perry's "wife" was to simply have Tyler Perry come on the show to say "I have absolutely no idea who this woman is."
