Schnauzer Mom, you have one of the best around, under, and between, and oh yes eye brow videos I’ve found. Even watching others they just accidentally cover because of camera or they don’t groom dogs with eye boogies. Their under eyes and between the nose are sometimes not as clearly shown. I enjoy bonding with mine during grooming. I would like the cheek contouring video that you do. Sorry comment is so long but one more comment. I’m so sorry for your loss on family and your precious babies as we too have lost two our on selves. Prayers for your hearts to heal soon

Thanks so much for sharing of trimming the eyebrows ❤️. I hate to admit my laziness! I’ve had rescues schnauzer for years my second I got her at approx under a year. She was just very early pregnant, she was trimmed, had a beautiful jeweled pink collar. I had raised and very successfully showed Irish Wolfhounds for 16 years. They put this girl on local TV we waited three days. No one claimed her so we took home Sadie. She is a black as coal beautiful purebred. We did have her spayed right away. We had no idea what bred her, her condition wasn’t great. I would say she lived her life in a cage, she had no muscle tone to her body. Horrible ear infection it smelled so bad sitting next to her was hard I took out a piece of ear wax as big as your little finger. We still have her she is 18! She is deaf now, and beginning to have significant cataracts. When I come home she acts like she’s a puppy! It’s truly amazing. Her Vet can’t believe she is 18 she is in such good condition. I have a rescue male 6 yrs he is neutered. He is a 1/4 poodle. Never again on a poodle mix he looks like a silver and white, no salt and pepper on him. His coat is soft and curly he is a constant grooming. If not he will mat to the skin if I let him get a little long. He is my baby boy at 25# and ALWAYS sits in my lap. Very jealous of other dogs but not aggressive at all. Sorry to ramble however I really enjoy your tips on grooming. Food stuck in the beards seem to be my biggest grooming problem. Any answers for that??

I love the ways you do the boys eyebrows. I have a white face and head with some silver and black on her back. She would really look silly with those long eyebrows. So, now I will try to work on getting her eyebrows the way you do the brows.
Thanks so very much for showing me how to do this.

This is great - thank you! I keep my Sammie's brows trimmed and I struggle with that hair on the nose that grows towards her eyes. I like to groom her like you do your boys...short all over and I like her brows cut short & back away from her eyes (so she she doesn't look so angry all the time!! LOL)

Thanks so much for these videos on grooming your schnauzers. You gave me the courage I needed to do my baby girl's grooming when you said that it takes practice and if you mess up it will grow back. Right now I'm getting everything together to do it. I added the thinning shears to my list. We are using a TV corner cabinet that works wonders to store our pet supplies in and is the right height for me. That saves money for us. It needs a skid-proof top, though. I hope I can do this because I really want another schnauzer (Oh, I sooo want four of 'em!) and it would save us money! Thanks, again, Schnauzer Mom! I love your videos!

+MrsSherry your very welcome and yes it takes a lot of practice and patience. I still make the occasional mistake and I've been grooming them for about 3 1/2 yrs now.

MrsSherry - I use a secondhand baby changing table to groom my dogs. I bought some textured shelf liner to make the top skid-proof but wipeable.

Thanks for the suggestion, Connie! I was wondering what to use. I think the baby changing table is a great idea, too.

Very helpful. I also don't like the eyebrows really long because I love to see my dogs' eyes.

Mozzie has great eyebrows. My last girl had a cowlick in one that made a swirl in the brow. My new boy Buddy has thin brows and not as full as Mozzie. I never thought to use thinning shears in between the brows. I usually just cut, but it leaves an undesired layered look. Thanks for that. I also like to let the hair on top of nose grow to become curly on top. Very cute that way.

+Tracy Dent yes thinning shears work great. I use them on their beard too so it's not such a straight cut. Thanks for watching.
