Excellent. Clear. Concise. It doesn’t really get across how tricky changing the NEAR-side, dipped-beam bulb is (I needed a torch and one of the other half’s make-up mirrors), especially if you don’t have tiny hands, but I managed it OK.
Where did you get all the room to manoeuvre? I was hoping that you'd be able to tell me how to do it with no space and bits of jaggy metal and plastic in the way, just like on my car.
Hi @Shakey Pitt. In order to film the operation, we removed the battery at least to place the camera. Indeed, it looks like there is more space than in real conditions. These bulbs videos are difficult for us. Either we film them in "real conditions" and it is impossible to display something clear. Or we remove some stuff and we can show how to perform the replacement of the bulbs. But then it looks like there is more space than usual.
@@UseTool_EN Yes, I was a bit toungue-in -cheek there; it had taken me 20 minutes to unclip the connector and get the old bulb out, and was having serious trouble getting the new one in. I eventaully gave up and tried again this morning. It only took me another 20 minutes, but I got there. When Mother nature gave us opposing thumbs, you'd think she'd chuck in a couple of prehensile fingers as well.....
😁 Well done! For sure this was a tricky one (I also have a 207, my hands know what I'm talking about) ! Fortunately, some car engineers manage to design more clever headlights that you can fully remove...
Wondering if anyone can help me on this one? So I noticed the headlight was out on the passenger side but the little one below the headlight was still working so I went ahead and replaced the headlight. I couldn’t quite get the old dead bulb out as it seemed quite old and hard to remove so I just kept pulling and nothing was happening, I got a small flathead screwdriver just to place onto it to pry it off, and it came out eventually, then I replaced it with the new bulb no problem then I turned the car on to see if it was working and nothing, now the smaller light underneath isn’t working either, but the other lights on the other side are both working perfectly fine, so I’m wondering if I have maybe damaged something whilst trying to get the black connector off?? Or has a fuse gone or something? Not quite sure, if anyone has had anything similar any Info would be great! Thanks

@@UseTool_EN Some designers expect you to take out the AirCon Pump, or the Battery, or remove a Bumper....
Couldn’t agree more…
Excellent ! Thank you, greetings from Bulgaria :)

Probably the best method for doing this
Q,
Why does my bulbs and indicator always keep going out every couple of months always the right hand side is it the fuse ??
You could be missing some protection. Either a rubber or plastic cover and there's water getting in there and fusing it.
Many thanks. Saved a heap of angst
Great thanks! Nice easy fix, cheers for the vid
Thanks for this video!
Did it,thx...it works 😮
Hi @Djolle25 ! We're glad we could help you out ✌
Fantastic!
Which one is dipped and which is main beam I’m confused 😂
PSA to anyone struggling with the black lego looking part not easily being removed from the lightbulb: don’t be afraid, just pull it.
