And if you think I am just magnifying the wonderful conveyance of writing and the way in which our lives affect what we write, I give you two words: "Jane Eyre".

I was at the premiere of this in Edinburgh. Amazing to see Karen Gillan in the flesh, she's actually much more stunning in real life. Its a great wee film although, like all rom-coms, you can predict the ending but its an enjoyable ride. If you're a fan of Iain de Caesteker you'll love this, he pretty much steals every scene he gets. And Karen Gillan proves she has the acting chops to lead a production easily.

I'll list some I enjoyed a lot from the top of my head: - Notting Hill - While You Were Sleeping - Austenland - Leap Year - 27 Dresses - The Cutting Edge - You've Got Mail - No Reservations - The Pretty One (maybe not that much of a comedy, but very sweet though) And that's all of the films I could think of withing a few minutes that are actual Rom-Com's ;)
When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be something like "Not Another Teen Movie", which, by the way, I liked a lot. It still looks like a lot of fun though.
