Omg I feel you! After our wedding we had such a dopamine crash and spent the day crying, cuddling and calling everyone to thank them for the lovely party and generous presents 😭 We also went on our honeymoon 2 days after the wedding and it was the best decision! Spent a month travelling and it felt sooooo good to not be returning to “real life” right after the wedding 😂 Kudos to everyone who works/continues with life right after the wedding! ❤

The yard/garden came out beautifully! I love everything about it... the deck, the purple flowers, little mosses & bushes & I can not wait to see the end result of the back where the patio furniture is & how they'll jazz it up. It truly is a sanctuary. Love how they built the wooden walls for privacy, too. There's nothing like stepping out on a crisp but sunny morning with a cup of coffee & just soaking up all of the beautiful nature. Our landscaper made some changes to our garden as well & it just makes a huge difference. Next year, we'll be doing a beautiful deck around the pool & putting up privacy fencing as well. You've given me some good ideas about how your privacy walls were built. I'm so happy for you two!! Omg & her salon looks gorgeous, too. I also love that the pattern of the slatted privacy wall is beautifully repeated under the bench. Those repeated design elements make everything work so well! Can’t wait to see the pergola all decked out and ready for entertaining! Okay, I’m going to sound like an old lady, but take it with a grain of salt and of course do whatever works for you! But, I would have included at least one handrail for those who are older and need some additional support and safety up and down the stairs. Or for those who may have owies... a bad knee, twisted ankle, broken leg or bad hip who will appreciate something sturdy to hold onto. (I sound like such a granny, but I have several people in my life with physical challenges who would need a railing of some sort, so these things I tend to notice.) A railing with similar balustrades to the privacy wall would look great on one side! 🤷🏻♀️ Just a little safety something to consider. 😉🤕😆
