Nice video... But my sister purchased this exact model of printer (2022.11.30) and in HP instructions it says explicitly to NOT use USB for setup !!!?? There is even a sticker BLOCKING the USB port that says so!! So I set it up using WiFi... And I must say the printer hardware seems ok for a cheap printer. But the ABSOLUTELY AWFUL ""APP/SOFTWARE"" aka "HP-Smart" almost makes it unusable... All just because HP (for some idiotic reason) want people to have their printer connected to their servers (over the internet) in order to use it !!?? W.T.F!!?? Now YOU CAN AVOID that BUT HP does everything to make that very convoluted. ALL in order to ensure that the "average user(customer)" will NOT manage to do that... So my STRONG ADVICE is: When buying a printer ask the sales person if the printer can easily be setup AND USED with a computer that is NOT connected to the Internet. If they say No (i.e. that the printer requires Internet) then do NOT buy that printer. (So most if not all HP'S are "out of the picture") And if you have bought a printer and it still SEEMS to require Internet to use. Then TAKE IT BACK to Your sales Person and DEMAND either CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS on how to do it. OR to return the printer and get another printer that can be(setup and) used locally (ie totally without Internet connection) THE LEVEL OF "UNUSABILITY" THAT HP HAVE""ACHIEVED"" WITH THEIR "HP-Smart" app is NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! This is soooo awesome....spending all my free time trying to get my stupid printer back printing and wouldn't ya know......the HP Smart app won't start downloading....so is Microsoft Store wrecked too....I HATE WINDOWS!

I received an error message that said that my printer would only work with a 2.4 wireless and I have a 5( whatever that means). I am unable to connect wirelessly at all but I was able to connect via usb with the help of your video.
