Unbox & Set Up HP Deskjet 2700 Printer Series, Review !!

- This video tutorial reviews the step-by-step method to unbox and set up the HP Deskjet 2700 printer series. You also learn how to do WIFI Set Up, Wi-Fi Direct Set Up, Wireless Scanning, Wireless Printing & 2- sided copy. This also works for HP Deskjet 2720, 2721, 2722, 2723, 2724, 2725, 2726, 2732, 2752 , 2755, 2775, 2776 All-In-One Printers.
Follow these steps-
- Open the printer box and take all items out carefully
Take black and color setup ink cartridges out of packets
- Carefully remove the piece of tape from printer it can be one or more blue tapes.
-Plug the power cord one end in printer and one to electric supply.
- Open paper tray at rear and insert the a4size papers.
- switch on the printer and open the ink cartridge chamber door.
- Install the ink cartridges one by one in correct position.
- Printer will print ink cartridge alignment page and put it on scanner bed facing downwards and press the copy button.
- Wait for printer to scan page and its ready.
Wi-Fi Set Up-
-Now enter the printer into the setup mode press and hold cancel and wireless button for 3 seconds. Once blue light starts to flash , go to android device and open the HP Smart app.
-Add printer here and connect it to WIFI network. See video for details.
WIFI Direct Set Up-
-Activate the WIFI direct by switching off wireless blue light. Press I button on printer and it will print printer info page.
-Look for printer WIFI Direct password here under WIFI Direct section.
- Open WIFI network of smartphone and connect with HP Direct 2700 series printer.
- Open HP Smart app and add printer there.
- Do wireless scanning and printing.

HP is notoriously useless on customer support for at least a decade but I didn’t realize that. Had this video not helped I was going to pack it up & send it back to Walmart. I am trying to connect C District 3700 and the WPS original WPS button but they sent me a password I printed the instructions but I just can't figure out how to get the name of the printer to repeat to appear and I don't know what the management tool of the wireless routers

What is the back plate for? I have tried to load paper back there to scan more than one page at a time like a traditional copy machine. But its just like its only there for decoration
hi...by mistake, I removed the down cover of the scanner lid the one which stick, now when I scan my ID i all the page turn black what can I do?
When i’m gonna connect it to the wifi it does not give me an option to pick my Wifi?

i reset my printer, rerun hp smart app while my i[hpne connected top my home network but printer in wireless setup is not discovered. how do i connect printer first time to hp smart app if its not getting discovered? i assume first printer will not be connected to any network after reset

We eventually got this set up and it worked fine. We switched it off for the night and the next morning, it would not work. Both lights were on , but on the laptop it showed as 'off line' . We fiddled for an hour with it, can't remember quite what, but it worked again. Switched off again and next day, same thing, 'off line' ! This time though I went into settings-Printer- troubleshooting. As soon as I went into this, without doing anything, it printed the item in the queue! I have read that these should be switched off, not so much for the power consumption, but to prevent the cartridges from drying out?

This is totally confusing. I have viewed the set up video. The ink cartridges are in, the paper is in so how do I print. What are the button controls on the right hand side.

I have a Hp desk jet ink advantage 2775 it came with 667 cartridge which is no longer being sold I bought 67 cartridge's and the printer is rejecting them. i have tried to reset and i also connected to HP virtual assistant with out success, Please help!

The cable that connects the printer to the electrical outlet seems very loose on the printer end. The printer works, but the connection does not feel secure or well seated. It doesn't click or snap into place. Has anyone else experienced this?
