I've already got the ZF transmission. First thing I did was service it when I bought it used. Bought a pan Got the fluid. Ran about 300 bucks. Been enjoying driving this truck since. I also own a 2005 Acura. I like fast. It's not as quick as my TL but it's very quick for a truck. First gear is very torque heavy. Very fun ride.
Question Did German sound automotive program for manual shift? Or did you have an outside source do it I’m doing the same swap on my truck Nice build 👍
Seems like a long process of fine tuning I mean your buddy is going on 3 years with an xk swap and you're still " tuning". This seems like constant project rather than a straight forward swap it and forget it deal . The Durango I have is a 13 RT I've thought about swapping but this next year I'll swap her at the dealership for a tow and go and put all my bolt on parts on the new one . My 65rfe has a full billet valve body in it and has run fine with the following added ...CAI, ported TB, ported 6.4 intake manifold, long tube headers, full cat back and custom tuning...it also has a wet nitrous throttle body kit usually run the 100 jetting on it . The trans has held up fine and it's not even a built unit just has a better valve body. The real issue for me is the 3.00 1st 1.66 2nd 1.50 "3rd" 1.1 4th then nothing but OD as the axle gearing is only 3.45 and that's not deep enough with the gearing of the rfe transmissions to get moving like it should but the newer Durango unlike the 1500 doesn't have the option to regear so I can't just do 4.56-4.88 in the axle if I could I wouldn't have much of a lust for the 8spd . My only other option is to use my 1.5 ratio Atlas 2 transfer case from a buggy I don't have anymore and swap it in place of the 2.72 AWD case this with 3.45 gears gives pretty solid gearing 1-6 in low range and has the option to run hi range for taller fuel friendly gears but I don't want a set of cable or stick shiters rigged into my console looking ghetto.
I'd like to know how much easy it would be to do this swap with a 2014 since they where available as an option. Maybe just wire harness trans and driveshaft?

The he’s the one who did the programming, and thanks! Good luck with swap!
Try running it on half tank gas or 1/4 also helps on weight
ZF makes a great transmission
Jesus 14:25 The Final Wide Open Tune! What an insane difference and the way it sounds, kinda radical🥴

That 5.7 hemi can sure sing a good song paired with the 8 speed!
Oh yeah 8speed me feels diffrent 🙌🏼
I mean my opinion no drama jajaja
❤ nice brother bout damn time
Hey you were speeding at 11:26 😂 sounds sweet
👀👀😂😂
Thanks!! lol
Yoooo can you do mines? Do you live in Michigan what all do i need?? And what vehicle is the transmission from? Is it from the 8 speed ram??
Don’t do installs for others just personal. Videos before this show the step by step process if you’re interested, and yes from an 8 speed ram

It would unfortunately be the same process as mine
Where can i but this kit?

Charger trans?
Nope, out of a ram truck. But programmed as if it’s a charger for the shifter and stuff
