What if F1 raced at the Rome Circuit from Gran Turismo 5?

- This is an F1 onboard lap on the Circuito di Roma that was featured in Gran Turismo 5 & 6. Although this track mod is unfinished, it's cool to see what a circuit passing close by the Roman Colosseum and the Roman Forum in its journey would look like. This circuit consists of 11 turns and is 3.48 km long (2.16 mi).
Do you like this circuit? Let me know what you think in the comments below. 👇
This F1 onboard lap was driven in the F1 2023 SimDream Ferrari SF-23 car mod with Carlos Sainz.

You know where else i'd like to see them? Deep Forest
So true
at sunset
I've always liked this track, it would never work for F1 but it could be good in touring cars
RIP mystery trackside wanderer @0:58
Rome from GT2/GT3 and Rome Night from GT2 (all in the same area together with this one) would make much much better street circuits for F1
- 00:00 Viale del Foro.
- 00:10 Colosseo.
- 00:20 Via San Gregorio.
- 00:30 Domus Augusto.
- 00:40 Teatro Marcello.
- 00:45 Campidoglio.
- 00:50 Piazza Venezia (Altare della Patria).
Underrated comment
There’s so many fantastic tracks from Gran Turismo I’d love to see on this channel. Tokyo Route 246, Special Stage Route 5, Ciruito de Madrid, Hong Kong, Deep Forest Raceway, Grand Valley Speedway, Mid Field Raceway, Seattle Circuit, Matterhorn. There’s so many.
Already done more than half of them!
That's quick, like the short version of Bahrain
This I could see happening but it’s a bit short for an f1 car, and some of the corners need widening
This wouldn't be an ideal track for f1 since some of the streets are pretty much made of cobblestone, but Rome has a couple of streets which would make for a glorious circuit in my opinion, such as Muro Torto and Viale Washington, two streets that cut through Villa Borghese and already have nice straights, various types of corners and chicanes
Rip that mechanic
good. Now Deep Forrest, Grand Valley Speedway, High Speed Ring and Cape Ring (if you can you probably put this tracks in a fantasy championship)
We need Trial Mountain and Deep Forest
Do a lap around Deep Forest
It would be great if this track is layered with the GT3 version.
0:06 "MY TOES!!!"
It's probably a bit short (curiously, it is actually longer in length than Monaco, but a much faster lap), but the older Rome Circuit probably wouldn't be too much better
It doesn't seem like a combination of the two would be that great either, though...
What tracks in this game is your favourite?
ngl, I was expecting a GT40 to overtake you on the final corner.
Oh no
@@cheatergt4020 HE'S THERE
try the Daytona or the current road course of Indianapolis Motor Speedway
If you look closely, you will find a gt40 on pole postion
I like the Rome track better in GT6. It's visually more realistic and slightly different.
Don't give the FOM any idea, they would be capable of sacrificing the legendary Monza circuit for an Italian Grand Prix in the streets of Rome
I prefer Rome Circuit from Gran Turismo 2 and 3
Can you do a gp at AVUS
He already did it ruclips.net/video/Fdz8iSzhhi8/видео.html
Good they're not V10 anymore then. The coliseum would crumble with that noise.
The problem with a lot of these fictional circuits from Gran Turismo/Forza is that they’re too wide. It means cars carry too much speed through what should be tight corners.
You're confusing width with flow, which is the real problem - The kink at 0:38 is a goddamn deathtrap
I think he tracks were really designed for road cars, as the majority of the game uses these.
This track is actually narrow, but fast though.
Uh its dangerous
will the pope Francisco wave the checked flag?
show the circuit layout
Start northwest of the coliseum, go around it, then turn right at first chance every time until you rejoin the avenue where you started
Slower than white GT40
