Hey, thank you for your question! I applied to be considered for my top two preferences (Innovations in Science and Technology and Solving Global Challenges). I think you can def apply to be considered for multiple but I wouldn’t recommend applying for all four because it makes it hard for you to justify your answer especially since there is a 100 word maximum. By limiting your preferences, you can talk about your interests in each stream (even briefly) which helps increase your chances of getting in and being allocated to your top choice! Hey! Most definitely! You can ask any of your teachers or a coach (past or present) for a recommendation letter. I suggest asking someone who has known you for a few years so they can write a more personalised recommendation! Hope that helps :)
Hey, thank you so much for your comment! This year YYGS was online however they announced that there will be both online and in-person sessions for 2023. In both options, international students are encouraged to apply. The best thing about YYGS is how diverse the student cohort is so I would def recommend applying regardless of where you are from. Finally, with financial aid, there is a section at the end of the online application that you can fill out. Hope that helps!

When completing your application, you will need to fill out the financial aid request form. Based on your household income and expenses, the YYGS administrative team will provide financial aid based on what they think will work best for you and your family. Some people receive full financial aid, whilst others (like myself) receive partial. Overall, it really depends on you and your family’s individual financial situation. Hope that helps!

There is a section on your application where you can apply for full or partial financial aid so don’t let the cost be a barrier from applying!! YYGS is open to anyone from any country, in fact they have students from over 150 countries!
