When I went to collect my rewards it said new season dropping soon come back later. I have the clip of hitting level 40 but no gold floor setter and no magic Johnson. Smh bad company
100% you could actually get to 99 by just having great mycareer games. It also felt rewarding. Loved 2K12's system. Played the game and that's all you needed. No money out of your pocket or microtransactions.

Once I realized this, I completely stop playing 2k for years. The point of a GAME is to first be fun. Yeah Damianalexander I agree. Builds are so expensive and it's the reason why I'm only sticking with my 4. I got VC when I bought the game for my initial build and then I've only spent 150 for the last 3. I have no intention of buying more VC to experiment with builds for that reason. It's sad what it's come too.

I don’t understand why the NBA allows them to use their logo and the players allow their likenesses to be emulated by fans, then make it near impossible to spec a build by grinding and then require skill boosts just to be competitive. Let’s forget about swag and being able to afford any of it. You only reward $1500 VC per if you’re dominant and then charge $20,000 for a shirt or ugly helmet on top of boosts…cmon now. You basically spend the equivalent of a games VC on boosts for the next game…if you want to enjoy any rewards you gotta come outta pocket and on top of initial cost of the game and your monthly charge for Server access, they’re making on average $400 plus per game..I’m currently in my 3rd season on a build and I played 90% of My career games with most of my VC going to attributes and I’m only at a 90 ovr and I have the free time to do it. I play 2k23 I have 840 hours on the game and only have one and a half build making a build is so expensive and such a grind you have to make the build you want perfectly the first time or you just waste your time

Rather go back to grinding vc like the old days. I run with some of the smaller 2k RUclipsrs such as norri,chomp,3ball some of us just stopped playing because I’m not paying $200 to max a build with all the animations I want. I run center average 21-11-5 in rec 92 win%. Each rec game is around 25-30 minutes. I have put up 50pts20reb5blocks and got 1100 vc with an A+. If it takes 500k vc let’s say to max your build if you play rec only that would be 500games*30minutes per game which is 250 hours minimum to max your build no money assuming you win 90% of the time.if you play 4-5 hours a day it would take you 2 months to max it. Crazy that if we payed no money it would literally take the best players who spend hours 2 months to max a build. Which means it would probably take the average person 3-5 months to max a build. ALSO I code i have helped make scripts I’ve been a script maker to be exact the 2k20 excellent release script I made. I’ve been in dricoms discord lethal panda all of them helping people to learn how to configure them. Yes a lot of yall favorite RUclipsrs use these scripts I’ve even told double H and Joe knows on stream about it back in 2k22 and 2k23 they wanted me to leak names but people feed their families off 2k so I don’t want that karma.

I created another build and just ran games without playing on HOF, just skipping the timeouts and halftimes etc and getting about 750 for a game. Meanwhile I would play an older game on an emulator or watch a film etc. Generating VC basically. This helped me get more VC but it’s super lame, and I wouldn’t do it again. I also won’t be buying 2k25 and grinding again. Only way I’d do it is buy the game cheap and then spend a bit of money on some VC to build the player quickly.. but fuck that. I can’t let these fuckers win! They should make the game easier to play without paying…

You basically spend the equivalent of a games VC on boosts for the next game…if you want to enjoy any rewards you gotta come outta pocket and on top of initial cost of the game and your monthly charge for Server access, they’re making on average $400 plus per game..I’m currently in my 3rd season on a build and I played 90% of My career games with most of my VC going to attributes and I’m only at a 90 ovr and I have the free time to do it. Nah because this is exactly the point of my stance on the game. It’s not just that it is bad, but the fact that it is supposed to be so much better, I love 2k. I love basketball and love to play the game. But it’s at such a low spot where I haven’t been on since the first month. Besides for short periods with friends. Rather go back to grinding vc like the old days. I run with some of the smaller 2k RUclipsrs such as norri,chomp,3ball some of us just stopped playing because I’m not paying $200 to max a build with all the animations I want. I run center average 21-11-5 in rec 92 win%. Each rec game is around 25-30 minutes. I have put up 50pts20reb5blocks and got 1100 vc with an A+. If it takes 500k vc let’s say to max your build if you play rec only that would be 500games*30minutes per game which is 250 hours minimum to max your build no money assuming you win 90% of the time.if you play 4-5 hours a day it would take you 2 months to max it. Crazy that if we payed no money it would literally take the best players who spend hours 2 months to max a build. Which means it would probably take the average person 3-5 months to max a build. ALSO I code i have helped make scripts I’ve been a script maker to be exact the 2k20 excellent release script I made. I’ve been in dricoms discord lethal panda all of them helping people to learn how to configure them. Yes a lot of yall favorite RUclipsrs use these scripts I’ve even told double H and Joe knows on stream about it back in 2k22 and 2k23 they wanted me to leak names but people feed their families off 2k so I don’t want that karma.

I created another build and just ran games without playing on HOF, just skipping the timeouts and halftimes etc and getting about 750 for a game. Meanwhile I would play an older game on an emulator or watch a film etc. Generating VC basically. This helped me get more VC but it’s super lame, and I wouldn’t do it again. I also won’t be buying 2k25 and grinding again. Only way I’d do it is buy the game cheap and then spend a bit of money on some VC to build the player quickly.. but fuck that. I can’t let these fuckers win! They should make the game easier to play without paying…

That shit would be so dope. Backboard smashing, crazy animations, cool ass characters, dope maps to play on, cool gear or outfits, personal court with customization, etc.. I miss the old days man. But a High School Basketball Career Mode is must needed, and it would do well. IMAGINE a Mycareer mode....... it can work.... I hope someone in Nerdville is reading this.
