I went from not even knowing this series existed, to consuming every piece of content on this game, and pre ordering the star citizen edition in a matter of like 4 days. I'm hype as fuck to play this

Very good and to the point. Subbed! The more I hear about this game the more excited I get. I had no idea about the mechs being brought in later. It’s wild cause I’m just getting into warhammer and this game is straight up just like that universe.

My thoughts; "If they could fix the matchmaking and stop kicking me from every game, that'd be great." Otherwise… It's fun, with friends. Pretty intense, is an understatement. It is fun though.
I hope they release more enemy factions and mission types in the future.

1:51 The recoilless rifle doesn't *require* 2 people to reload, it is just much more efficient to do it that way instead of the user taking a knee and going through a whole 5 second reload themselves.
I know haha you're the 3rd person to mention so it's good to see everyone's paying attention. It was bad wording on my part, I should have added "to be more efficient" because it seems like now I'm saying you really need 2 and can't do it without help. I assumed it would still be the same as in Helldivers 1 at least.

I hope the game will be playable solo like HD one was. Higher dificulty levels were dificult but still possible to beat.

Thank you, appreciate it! You can use actual money to buy Super Credits with, that's the icon you've seen. But you can also earn it in-game, we just don't know yet at what rate and difficulty.

For strategems once they are purchased are they something you keep forever and they have the uses and cooldowns per mission deployment or do you have to rebuy them for currency after using all uses? Like shown in that menu for example one strategem showed 3 uses, does that mean you can use it 3 times in a mission or does it mean that after using it 3 times you need to buy more with in game currency?
Once you unlocked a stratagem you keep it forever, so no need to buy them again. Some stratagems have limited uses before it becomes unavailable in a mission, so they aren’t being taken away from the player permanently. It’s just a balancing decision

Greatest question now that FOMO is out of the question (thank you for mentioning it!) is the replayability of the game. Hope it'll be random enough to keep the playerbase for a long time.
Hopefully the game has a large enough pool of different scenarios and events that will keep it interesting, not run into the same objectives twice in every 4 matches.
I've bene waiting years for this sequel, about the armor thing, I'm sure i saw some type of stats/armor rating numbers, so I think amor Will impact gameplay.
You're correct, there are stats and passives for each set of armor and as a result they will impact gameplay.
Just like many here I didn’t even know this series existed, found out they made my favorite remake of Gauntlet, played, and now am a loyal citizen of Super Earth. 😂

3rd person perspective, the automatons are new (no they are not theCyborg from HD1), new gear, new progression system....but in the end it IS a Helldivers game.

Thinking about buying a ps5 for this game alone. Can I customize my helldiver?
Maybe some unwanted advice but I'd make sure you would like the game, checking out videos from after release before buying a PS5 otherwise it might be the most expensive game you have ever owned which you ended up not liking.
With regards to customizing your Helldiver; yes and no. You can equip different armor, helmet, cape, weapons ect (which could be considered customization) but don't expect an RPG character creation routine.

I believe I would have enjoyed this, unfortunately I can’t be doing with the hassle of finding a team to play, I think I’ll be giving it a miss.

You can play solo yes but literally alone, no bots. There are no bots in Helldivers 2. I don't have that many friends either and even then not all of them play games. You can always try the matchmaking ingame?
Can we dodge and jump in this game ?
I've seen footage of players diving forward but haven't seen any dashes nor jumps

It’s fun but I literally can join a quick match and now I’m stuck because I can’t play or help others I’m getting pretty frustrated

The only thing im scared about is replayability.
They will add new content
I guess diversification in terms of loadouts and gear will be key for longevity. If they release a new Warbond every month (and no we don't know yet how much content there is per Warbond or how much time it takes to unlock everything inside) then the amount of added content has to keep people involved enough. If it will, obviously we don't know yet :) but at minimum they have a plan to support replayability.
Is there solo play with ai?
You can play solo in a team but there won't be bots so the missions will be more difficult; it's really a multiplayer game.

The only reason why I wont play this game even tho I know I would enjoy it and spend lots of time is the nProtect anti-cheat. Having root-kit on your PC where you pay bills or use it for work is never a good idea, even if the chances are small of some one back-dooring into your data they are not zero. Great video Stefan, would like to hear your opinion.
Others have commented on this as well. I need to educate myself first on the subject matter before I can give any sensible opinion, plus I have to see where to fit it into my schedule as time until release is limited. Thank you for pointing it out.
No you don't need 2 people for the recoiless rifle as in your vid the second guy let's go and he still fires it? They can help stabalize!

I liked first part alot, but I hate the fact they imployed GameGuard. It sucks as anti-cheat and it monitors all of your hard drive, not just the game folder. And I hope they will make other faction`s weapons and gear avalible, like they did in Mass Effect 2. And bring back other vehicles from the first part as well as mechs!
I'm sure they'll first want to see how the game performs and is received for a quarter, fix any bugs (no not Terminids, actual video game bugs) they/we come across and then look towards expanding with vehicles. My guess is that's why they already previewed the Mechs. I don't know about you but I'll have my hands full anyways in the beginning to learn how to play properly and use all the Stratagems before I would be ready to move up to vehicles anyways.
@@SirStefanGaming I remember vehicles were very situational and almost usless against Iluminates, so maybe they will make it more usefull, given the fact that now you can only see in front of you, so having some extra protection from the rear and flanks for your guys would be real handy this time, since I usually played whithout vehicles anyway. Wich is a shame given how usefull they were in, say, battlefield.

Well....mankind being ruled by a "managed" democracy, having brainwashed citizens aspire to be this soldier that fights huge bugs and death robots on distant worlds...for me personally that's dystopian enough 😄

OK... Nothing about the shady rootkit anticheat nprotect... they will have access to all of your files on the PC - kernel lvl access... Anticheat in a game that need none - it's PVE - the bots don't need to be protected
I've seen a similair comment somewhere earlier about the anti-cheat. I will look into it and see if I can squeeze something in my schedule about it.
Kinda hesitant to buy it tbh, the anti cheat they are using is way to intrusive for a non-competitive game

my expectations are so high and my feelings say that this will be an awesome game...the opposite of suicide squad...no I did not bought this obvious scrap game...lol it was so clear that it will flop in the moment the head of the project left rockstady ...i cant await the start ...me and my mates are ready to kill the bugs...and I MEAN NOT THE GAME BUGS...i think their will be only a few issues ...or NOTHING because sony throws an eye on this game ...the start of helldivers 1 was a buttersmooth experience to...LETS DEFEND DEMOCRACY:::LOL

Can you play the game with a 2 or a 3 man party or do you need 4 to play it?
You can play with any number of people, from just you up to 4 people max. It's not mandatory to have a full team.
