First time sewing....I just got my machine, so far everything is working well and was able to manually thread and sew something. I was delighted...Then my needle broke, changed it but for some reason I can't seem to sort out the threader which would really help me so I don't have to use a magnifying glass. Maybe my needle isn't in properly because the needle doesn't seem to go high enough to catch it. I'm in a sweat and had to step away a few times. I may try taking out the needle and putting it back in. I've watched this part about 10 times so I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right....... if anyone can assist I would be eternally grateful.
Make sure the flat part of the needle is to the back. If it isn't, the needle may not go up as far as it needs to. Also, when using the threader, turn the hand wheel until the needle is all the way up. For further assistance, please contact our Customer Care Team at 1-800-474-6437 or email them here: www.singer.com/email-us/. Thank you!
@@SingerSewingCompany Thank you, I'll check the needle, I know the hand wheel is for sure in the right spot, I think it's the needle, they just aren't lining up. And if all else fails, I will be sure to call. Thanks again!!
Hi Joseph, When first starting to wind a bobbin, start slowly then, gradually speed up. If you start too fast, sometimes the thread will be too tight in the center of the bobbin and will "squeeze" it so it's difficult to remove it from the spindle. Hope this helps! -AK
Hi Thania! For a side-by-side comparison of machines, please visit: www.singer.com/machines/view-all/. Once on the page, please click the 'Compare' box in the left-center of the machine's information box. Once you have chose both, you click 'Compare' highlighted in red. It will then take you to a page with both machines compared side-by-side. Thank you! -TB
You may be able to choose auto-generated subtitles in the RUclips settings menu. But here is the link to a manual in Spanish, if that helps: manuals.singer.com/Manuals/RetrievePDF/704

My bobbin got stuck after threading and it’s hard to pull out.. what might be the cause of it?
