    The audience is not the reason why the judge turns that quick, its because they can hear the quality and uniqueness of their voice with those 1st 5 words.

    because the first time they heard the notes, they knew the child had potential, so they immediately turned around, that's how good the judge singers in the Philippines are.

    The judges are not relying on the audience going crazy but on the tone of voice or uniqueness of the voice that they are listening too although sometimes they do get curious if the audience/crowds happened to react enthusiastically on the contestants.

    As for singing as a way to not get out of poverty, it is true. It's a way to uplift your family and have a better life. Many famous Filipino singers come from poor families or middle class families like Regine, Mori, Dulce, some members of SB19, Charice and Sarah herself. Of the kids featured here, only a handful are still singing today.

  • @Rszmc_0005
    @Rszmc_0005 3 месяца назад +8

    They're turning so early bcoz you have to consider the nerves they are all "KIDS" at the time so in the first note you can tell if the kids are great.

    • @Rszmc_0005
      @Rszmc_0005 3 месяца назад +3

      And you can teach them to hit those notes so hitting those notes not always the point.. if you are confident enough and you have a unique sound or attitude in your voice most likely the judges will turn.

    You're actually right with your observation that most Filipinos would take singing as a career to get out of poverty.
    Most of our professional singers are products of MANY singing contests in the country, small or big ones. We call them "kontiseras" or veterans of singing contests, they usually start as early as 4 yrs old and and they use their prizes(usually cash) to support their family needs.
    Konstiseras used these contests as their training grounds and at the same time a venue to be discovered by talent scouts/producers.

    I guess the quick turn around of the judges were base on the texture of the voice where it fits on what they are looking for their team. Since minor voice issues by a contestant latter can be corrected by them as a coach.

  • @cleolauren8670
    @cleolauren8670 3 месяца назад +15

    I think these judges normally listen for a unique tone more than the skill in singing. Tone or voice quality is not something you can teach. So when they hear that, they turn around right away.

    After this she was in a TV show Your Face Sounda Familiar kids version she did True Colors as Cindy Lauper and another song from Barbra Streisand.

    First of all I would like to commend you both for your extensive knowledge of these songs. Ryan is very quick to identify the titles and the artists. He also did well identifying Darren and Zack.
    Second, to the bone of contention for this video. It's a compilation of the Voice kids being good in English songs meaning it's been filtered to include those who have passed /impressed the judges. Also, these judges are all professional and trained singers. Lea is Lea, she'd look always for the classical voice. Sara is the Pop Princess, she's more contemporary. And Bamboo is the rock star. They all have ears for the best singers. And no it doesn't have anything to do with the audience, sorry Cindy. The kids that passed all had unique tones.
