yep yep!.. others are trashing ufotable for milking demons slayer for having a trilogy... But its best to exp the best arc of demons slayer into a big screen and loud speakers and shouting/crying together with the people in the cinema.. that for sure will be an epic experience
Fun fact: shinobu’s poison wasn’t 70 times the lethal dose, it’s actually 700 there was a mistranslation and the author fixed it in a later note

When I saw sanemi fighting Upper one for the first time, I almost jumped out the the window my gosh was it so amazing! ❤️
Zenitsu had bars but my favorite quote in all of infinity castle is Yushiro taunting Kaigaku as he falls to his death: “Someone who never gives to others will some day become unable to receive anything from them. Only wanting is, in the end, the same as having nothing. Because it means you’re unable to create anything.” What an absolute slap in the face (or what was left of it at that point).
I agree with the Mitsuri/Obanai fight being last. That fight was kinda Scooby Doo, which surprised me ‘cause there aren’t a lot of goofy fights in Demon Slayer. That tends to be more early One Piece’s lane.

Just looked into this, apparently it was originally stated to be seventy times the lethal amount in the magazine version, but it was later corrected by Gotoge to be seven hundred times in the volume edition

I remember reading years ago that this was the best the author could do while she was trying to deal with something with some health issue with her family. So, she rushed it a bit to get it to end so she could focus more on helping her loved ones.

In the Zenitsu v Kaigaku fight the crazy part is for Kaigaku, he heard Jigoro killed himself by suffering bleeding out and he didn't care 💀

My only ?? about the Douma fight was he had Just been absorbing all of the poison that was injected into him little by little and his body was primed for breaking down poison. But he doesn't notice Buckets loads of wisteria the one thing that can repel demons suddenly in him?? It just felt like a weird choice could have even used the make a demon human again poison to catch him off guard idk. Cause I feel like with his ice blood demon art being the perfect counter to breathing styles we could have seen some cool stuff but we sort of had to go with the mcguffin of yeah idk the poison worked this time
As for Kaigaku I wish he had been more fleshed out Before this. For such an influential character to only learn his name in his one and only fight is... too thin? Idk like he ruined so many lives and Zenitsu's whole character growth revolves around information we barely have

I liked the Kaigaku fight, but it wasn’t foreshadowed enough. If Kaigaku was constantly in Zenitsu’s mind as he fought other demons, then it would’ve had more pay off. Same with the Dōma fight. I really like Shinobu and Dōma, but it would’ve worked better if Shinobu was the deuteragonist. It would’ve made sense because we have one main character who sees the humanity in all demons and one who hates demons with all her heart but “gives demons a chance” before killing them brutally in honor of her sister. Kanao being heartbroken over Shinobu and Kanao also falls a little flat because we don’t get to see their relationship much.
Man I’m not sure I’m going to be emotionally prepared for this trilogy
you forgetting how Douma was pop out 5 more ice clones to deal with them and was about to start 3rd partying before the poison kicked in
I am mostly excited for Zentisu vs Kaigaky, most backstory behind the fight and the animation is going to go crazy with all the thunder.
Edit: probably not the most backstory in general, but with the charachters fighting altogether.
