ਫਿਲਮ ਰਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਣਖੀ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੈ| ਜੀਤੋ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਲਾਈ ਬੈਠੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ.ਾਨੀਆਂ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੇਖੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ| ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਨਾਗ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਉਸਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਸਿਰ ਸੁੱਟੀ ਬੈਠੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਫਣ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੇ|

Wonderful movie... It shows not only true love ... Also the actual strength of a lady... Who forgets n sacrifice her love for her husband n family... but no one knows about her feeling.. uff Masha Allah ....
this was really an art work. i am really grateful to amardeep singh gill for making such a nice movie. Everything was excellent whether it is acting, direction, music, camera or screenplay.

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੌਂਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸਾ ਦੇਖਾ। ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲਘੂ ਫਿਲਮ "ਸੁੱਤਾ ਨਾਗ" ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ 60 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣ ਸਕਿਆਂ। ਦੂਸਰੀ ਗੱਲ , ਇਸ ਲਘੂ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਕਿਰਕਿਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਈ ਆਨੰਦ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ।
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ ! ! !

ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਿੱਦਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਠਿੰਡੇ ਤੌ ਸ ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਗਿੱਲ ਸਾਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵੀ ਰੰਗ ਲਿਆਈ, ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ - ਫਿਰੋਜਪੁਰ ਤੌ ਗਾਮਾ ਵੀਰ, ਹੈਪੀ ਅਰਮਾਨ ਨੇਂ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
