This was awesome! I've been using Creo (Pro/E) since 1989 and it feels good to learn some new stuff. I had forgotten about TRAJPAR and how useful it can be. When working through this on my own, I approached it a bit differently. When doing the first sketch, before completing it, I converted it to a spline so that the curve was one segment. I then created the points along the curve using a ratio. I also created a datum plane through the point and normal to the curve. I used that to drive my X-trajectory on the sweep. That way the weave was always normal to the first curve. By doing that, I could use one pattern for the sides, curve, and base. Instead of the three separate patterns. Also, to make the alternate weave, after creating the first weave, I created a pattern of two and "unpatterned" it. I then just changed the relation in the sketch to sd4=1*cos((trajpar*360*10)+180).
Anyway, awesome tutorial and will be subscribing.

Sir, the vertical dimension (increment dimension 2) isn't showing after grouping and patterning.

Excellent video! Thanks bro. Is the PTC Creo the best 3D CAD software now? Can you help by saying shortly how OnShape compares with PTC Creo in terms of Parametric modeling and stress/strain simulation/modeling?

the same as Solidworks, but SW is stronger on the drawing end than CREO imho.

@@theemptyatom CREO has a steep learning curve compared to Solidworks. Several of CREO's advanced features make it difficult to learn for users who are new to CAD. CREO is the best choice when its high-end features, such as topology, optimization, mold design, surfacing, and simulations, are needed.
