I like when they're on the plane and the guy next to Sloan asks "Why did you set the Secretary of the Treasury on fire?" and Sloan responds "Just to show the other cabinet secretaries I could."
@@jonblackk They were talking about ways to get kicked off the plane, and one was loudly yelling unpopular political views. And that's the view that Eliot Hirsch ended up on.
I love how Will doesn’t even react when Mac pulls the pillow out from behind his head. He’s just like, “He said something stupid. She’s going to hit him.”
One of my favorite lines is at the hospital when Mackenzie is getting on Will about his health and he says “can i have the mean nurse back” had me rolling 😂
Mac is my single favourite character on a TV show ever. "I think the power going out is what's going to save this - SON OF A BITCH!" That scene has me in tears of laughter every time.
the further you go through this collection you see how fucking awesome this series was, I wish they would do something with it today and bring them back,

"What happens in five seconds-" "What in the name of holy fuck were you thinking about?!"
My favorite part was in the same episode: "The Japanese say the radiation is going to level 7." "I'd take their word for it, the Japanese have some experience with radiation." "Do you think that's something I should..." "That is NOT something you should mention on the air!"
I love their retraction. Sloan's all "they fool-proofed the language for this EXACT reason," and they're all "you're not fluent in Japanese," and she's all "BUT I AM."
Love this. Seriously, this is a really nice compilation of some of the funniest moments! Will high and about to go on the air with the Bin Laden coverage is my favorite. Mackenzie's "Joe Biden!" and Charlie's "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" is the best thing ever.

there was a scene in one of the second season episodes where mac hits will a lot and he covers himself and says: "use your words!" I couldn't stop laughing
Uh, no. She dumped his glass of Whiskey onto his lap, at the bar, and then Will said, "Use your words." The one where she hits him with the pillow, was when he went to the hospital. You're mixing to different episodes together.
what makes this show a success? each character is unique !!! the directors did not focus only on the main characters .. even the tailor is sarcastic in his own way! and also so many reactions are unpredictable .. Charlie when he shouts at Don, McKenzie when she beats McAvoy, Sloan, Jim, .. Great Job !!!
I hadn't watched Rudy until I heard these guys talking about it. I watched it and I admit I did have a little something in my eyes during the jersey scene.
I'm thinking that Aaron Sorkin might have made me laugh more, with the possible exception of Groucho, than just about anybody else. Between his writing on this show and the West Wing, there have been some hilarious bits.
The actual show was cancelled for all the reasons the fictional show depicted. To recap: it was a fictional news show (literally, the only time the term "fake news" truly applies) doing actual news better than the real news... and the multi media owners of the fake news show, who also own real news outlets, pulled the plug because their own show made them look bad. That is so circularly, tragically ironic, that it came all the way back to being funny.
Balancing your checkbook is to balancing the budget like driving to the supermarket versus walking on the moon! Also, the American Taliban. It holds so true these days...
The jersey scene isn't the scene where most people cry. The scene where he finally plays and sacks the Georgia Tech QB is the most emotional scene. With 80,000 screaming fans, his dad celebrating in the stands, his best friend yelling "who's the wildman now." That's the scene that makes people tear up
Actually it was because Aaron Sorkin got tired of the bs of television. He will not write for tv anymore after this experience. Thanks HBO for taking off the best show you ever had
