One move I thought interesting was summoning fallen albaz activate his effect opponent activates enemy controller on albaz but you still get to fusion summon your albaz and their monster for mirrorjade 😅
question: so can i go, in their standby phase chainlink 1 branded in red, summon Sanctifier, chain its own effect to the succesful summon and puppetlock without them being able to interact with the effect?
@@MetaGamesGXcurious about this (forgive me I’m new and dumb and trying to learn). CL1 branded in red to fusion summon Albion Sanctifier, opponent cannot respond because CL 1 Red is a fusion summon correct? So immediately I can CL 2 Albion quick effect to puppet lock? Related question: if the chain resolves backwards, how can you activate Albion effect if it is not yet on the field (summoned during chain link 1 which would occur after chain link 2 resolves). I’m sure there’s a fundamental misunderstanding in here for me lol. Absolutely incredible videos man, this is an incredible channel for a branded/ yugioh noob like me
@@stever2381 Q1. The activation of the card cannot be negated, yes. But the effect can be negated(Yes, there are 2 ways of negating, the activation(eg. Solemn Judgement Effect) and the actual effect(eg spright carrot effect) lol). Q2 Yes, but it won't be CL2 as it wasn't on the field when you activated branded in red as CL1. The moment Sanctifire hits the field(this means that branded in red resolved...**new chain*** you chain, CL1, Santifire effect, to the summon of Sanctifire). This means that your opponent can't respond because the effect is chained to the summon of the fusion summoned monster.
FYI if you use fusion duplication to copy any fusion card u won’t get the branded lost protection in the new chain. Fusion duplications original effect does not include an effect that fusion summons a fusion monster it’s just copying the effect of a card that does. Therefore the activation of fusion duplication can be negated and also in the new chain your opponent will be able to react.
You cannot ash albaz effect to fusion on field because the deck is not used. With lost on the field you cannot imperm a fusion summoned monsters effect when lost is chain link 2 and the monsters effect is chain link 1
@@marcomartinez2270yes, Ash is negating the effect, not the activation. You can't judgement or baronne but Ash or an effect that negates the effect of a face up card are fair game.
Scenario: branded lost is on the field and we were able to summon all the way to mirrorjade, on summon we activate mirrorjade effect as CL1. We also CL2 cartesia effect on the field to fuse . Is your opponent able to respond to this?
They would however be able to respond on the Cartesia fusion summon in the next chain due to the way you ordered it. In general, you always want your effect to fuse be cl1
Checking for clarification what if same scenario but on resolution of mirrorjade summon can mirrorjade be negated by droplet pitching a monster to stop mirrorjade from just chaining it's effect?
Question when lost is on the field do I have to continually chain lost on every fusion summon ? Lets say I go Albion fusion into lubellion , do I say Albion chain 1 and chain 2 lost ?

Yep. You can still fuse. Got a bad judge call for this and lost a game 3

@@boostedgear1204okay that’s super helpful, thank you for the explanation!
Keep up the good work. 50 more likes we can do this
Thanks for making this
no problem liam!!
TY! Please can you make a video about how to use properly Shifter as a handtrap, because I'd like to use it against the fire decks.
Sure thing! I think enough questions get asked about shifter in branded i can make a video on it.

thanks for the heads up - ill cut that part out.
Thats true, by the same logic, F. duplication cannot be Ashed since its original effect is copying and not special summon
so you are saying if branded lost is on field they summon fallen of albaz to fuision i can respond with ash or imperm?

No, you always have the protection window as long as you're chain link 1
does this mean that my oponent can activate effects after the fusion summon chain ends?
yes but the summoning window will be proteced so if their triggers happen in that step they will not activate
Can promethean princess activate on resolution?
if a fusion summon was chain link 1 in the last chain no
So branded fusion can still be ashed when lost is on field?
