I got your VT reedle shot box a couple weeks ago and i haven't seen this much of a difference since i actually started a skincare routine for the first time. I feel like my skin is finally starting to look poreless and smooth without any makeup on. Its insane and I'm so happy i finally tried it!! Thank you!
are you using the 50 or 100 ?
I have heard you and Robert discuss the D'alba products for so long that I just bought it on Amazon to try. Neither of you has steered me wrong yet! I so appreciate your reviews!
I thought you were gonna talk smack about the Mixoon glacial, and I was gonna cry cause I LOVE it. 😂
Me too omg I just purchased it a couple of weeks ago 🥲
@@annaselbdritt7916
How about the result?
Your skin type?
@@annaselbdritt7916 results please 😢
How do you organize your skincare?? My bathroom counter is so cluttered, but I'm a feral child and I don't really know how to organize things lol.
OMG! Very good question! I am a victim of overconsumption.
Getting some cheap bins/trays helps so much, maybe get one that can stick to the wall if you’re in the bathroom
Hi, I know neither of you asked me, but here's an answer anyway, lol (from a fellow feral child)
Make yourself a dedicated skin care space! (preferably not in your bathroom, my house has the tiniest bathrooms, and I relate to the cluttered counters!)
I bought myself a small vanity on Amazon (I think it was like 150$ They had smaller ones, too) I also bought myself a skincare fridge, plopped it on my vanity, and bought a couple cheap organizers to insert into drawers. I moved ALL of my skincare and hair products to my vanity - some things go on the shelves, some in the fridge, and some in the drawers. It's been amazing. Not only do I have a place to sit down and do my skincare, but I FINALLY have a place to put ALL of my crap - skincare, my million bottles of hair products, normal stuff like lotion, deodorant, blah blah blah. It's been so nice having it all in one spot. I also got myself a little basket to take back and forth to the bathroom so I don't have to keep all my face wash on the bathroom counter. It feels super luxurious, AND it makes me look like I'm an organized human with my life together! Lol. It's a teensie bit of an investment, but I realized that if I'm willing to spend money on stuff that makes me happy or feel better, it was worth the money to dedicate an area to put all my stuff in.
Another person you didn’t ask but you’re getting another opinion from here! It required a bit of a purchase but I got a hanging mirror that doubles as a cabinet.. it offers quite a lot of space but keeps everything hidden away
I use a clear acrylic, lazy Suzan type thing. I can spin it to different sections I need.
You recommended the Sungboon Editor green tomato ampoule recently and I bought it. I've been using it for about a week and my skin is already noticeably appreciating it. I didn't have bad skin but the texture and redness is a little better and I like the healthy glow. My sister complimented my skin on Sunday too.
I already know I'll definitely be buying it again.
Hi James 👋🏻 Millenial here with dry, sensitive, rosacae-prone skin trying to find her way to a new skincare routine and not knowing where to start! 😬 I know very little about skincare, but your videos are my first step, thanks so much! ❤🇿🇦
I went with Prequel, for the most part. I’m obsessed with their cleanser, tho I own almost the entire line
Azelaic acid is amazing for rosacea - the ordinary do a really good basic one or Paula’s choice or I’ve heard good things about Dr Sam’s one as well (lil spenny but full of good ingredients). Anything with Centella as well is super calming and I find that helps with my redness- like the Purito unscented range ect (swear by it). Hope that helps x
@@jazzinglis4424 I'll check that out, thanks! 😃
Prequel didn’t work for me. I do love the cleanser. But everything else has Niacinamide and/or hyaluronic acid in it and my rosacea doesn’t play nice with those.
@@jessicahong5904 sadly I don't have access to Prequel, but I've found hyaluronic acid doesn't play nice with my skin either. I didn't know at the time why, but I think it might have been because of my rosacaea as well! Thank you! 😅🙌🏻
James is glowing, his skin looks amazing😌
Got the d’Alba double serum cream and it’s amaziiiiing. Amazon prime day had it on sale, originally it’s 75 bucks when on sale, on sale for thirty bucks, fifty bucks when not on sale, course I think they jacked the price up when it went on sale to 75 but it was still a good deal, love love love it ❤
Me too! I saw James promoting it and bought it on Amazon Prime Day. It’s a lovely consistency, and I especially love the water serum. Bonus, it doesn’t have much fragrance. I was concerned it would smell like mushrooms 😂🇬🇧💜
On their website the prices are almost always cheaper and have many discounts. The d'Alba serum I bought on their original website for 26 dollars while it can go for up to 90 dollars.
So SO glad you introduced the circa reedles to me. I got your collab box and it has changed my skin NOTICEABLY in literal days. I started with the 100 and felt nothing, moved to the 300 and it only tingled a bit I use the 700 twice a week and texture on my face is GONE and closed comedones come to a head quickly. I LOVE it
I received my VT Reedle shot box that you put together!❤ Love this product thank you for making this affordable for us to try it!
Lucky! Didn't get to it in time. Amazing deal though. I would have bought it even though I already had the 300
aww i wanted to try that so bad .. waiting for more collab boxes of James Welsh
I just ordered. It’s in stock and on sale for a few more hours
Same! I used for a week and already noticed the difference.
Yikes I can't find it! Hope I'm not too late
The 700 really isn't that bad, and paired with the 700 barrier repair cream it works really nicely. I'd only add hydration after using it and then the cream but no actives because it is strong x
Thank you for bringing back more frequent skincare videos. 🤗
I love the TirTir Ceramic Ampule in winter time in my evening routine before my retinal. Sooooo good!
Oh, and I am using the VT Reedle Shot 100. I started only two weeks ago but so far so good, I see result with it already. Thank you for your recommendation. 😊
Thank you James! You influenced me to by the D’alba mist and cream and it has done wonders for my oily, dehydrated skin. Love to you, Robert, Marcus, Ashton and the pups!! ❤❤❤
I love watching your k skincare videos
Thankyou James I have written the bits I want down as I always do from your uploads… & will enjoy shopping 🛍️ your empties!
You have totally changed my skin! I owe you so much! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ 14:41
Really hope you’re doing great James… you deserve it!
lots of love Tia ❤❤❤
James, between D’Abla and TirTir my skin has been looking so much better and I must thank you so much ❤❤❤. Your skin is been glowing ! Your honesty is so refreshing and rare these days. I really appreciate it. Both you and Robert deserve everything wonderful!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the d'alba white truffle spray, the first time I used it felt a bit weird, I thought I might be sensitive to it but it went away since then. Now I'm VERY intrigued about this double serum & cream! I wonder if it has the same scent because I'm obsessed with it!
I also prefer the liquid bottled version of the ilso sebum remover, highly recommend the official cleaner tool as well! Overall a better deal since you don't have to constantly replace them like the cotton tips or produce more waste!
I don't think I can live without these 2 products!!!
This is so perfectly timed and i love these type of videos thank you!!
Perfect timing, my moisturizer is about to run out so I ordered the d'Alba cream to try out
I have been using D' Alba product's for about a month now, and I am IN LOVE!!!!
The Reedle Shot 100&300 has transformed my skin! My acne has almost completely gone! I've bought the collagen version for my mum for her birthday 😂
Having JUST purchased the Green Tomato ampoule, I'm absolutely chuffed to hear how much you like it!
I am OBSESSED with the cica reedles. I cannot believe the immediate difference in my skin. Yesterday a picture from seven years ago came up on FB, and I look better now than then, and better than a week and a half ago. I was very skeptical, but wow 🤩🤩
James you're looking very well. I'm using the green tomato serum because of you and I love it too thank you
Thank you James. Happy Monday ♥️♥️
Please can you do a video in the difference between glowy skin and greasy skin? I can never tell the difference on my skin. Thank you.
I saw that there's a VT vitamin c needle shot too which I'm intrigued by tbh
Can you talk about the ingredients and research into lush cosmetics skin care? Lots of physical exfoliants, had a recent call back of their million dollar sunscreen and other suncare products as their formulas were not working correctly and was not actually blocking any UV filters similar to the strength the label suggested
I used to work there and can give you a rundown of my main take aways:
- everything contains fragrance. there’s maybe 2-3 skincare products that don’t have an added fragrance.
- all their exfoliating products are indeed rather harsh physical exfoliants like ground almond or salt except for one cleanser which is an enzymatic cleanser that utilizes fruit juices.
- all their cleansers are clay based or have harsh surfactants in them (the surfactant of choice for them is SLS or SLES in all their products which may be ok if you’re not sensitive or dry at all). none of them i i personally feel would be ideal for dry or sensitive skin. or just a compromised skin barrier in general. they do have two cleansing balm type products (ironically also two of the only products in the entire store that have no fragrance) but they lack emulsifiers and are super hard to wash off fully.
- they mainly utilize butters like cocoa butter, oils like jojoba oil as well as essential oils. other hydrators include fatty alcohols like cetearyl alcohol and other incredibly common ingredients. as someone who is acne prone, dry and sensitive I would never put their stuff on my face. ever. that, and the formulas are nothing impressive especially for the price. their pricing mainly comes from the fact that all their products are freshly handmade and their supply chain is much more ethical, so at least that’s good. They also pay a much better wage than comparable jobs which is also nice and more ethical.
- their toner waters are just water with steeped ingredients which makes them fragrant and have some of the benefits of them. but not worth it imo
I personally believe that their products are for the people who are in their cult following and people who want clean/natural beauty lol. Funnily enough, their surfactants and preservatives of choice would actually opt them out of a lot of definitions of clean beauty (even though they’re fine from a safety standpoint, we all know clean beauty claims lol). After working there I would never buy any of their skincare or haircare. their soap, bath bombs and lotions are fine for the body if you’re not sensitive. The price point of their skincare reflects their more ethical business practices and fresh ingredients however if you’re going to spend that amount of money on skincare I’d rather something that’s gonna work a little harder for me.
@@xFolkmore Just walking past a Lush is enough to make me dizzy from the smells, and I don't even have any asthma or allergies! I've never once been tempted to enter a Lush shop!
@@ragnegjengedal7803 i don’t blame you. i definitely went nose blind eventually but i still don’t know how i worked there looking back LOL
Love D'Abla! I use the serum spray daily, smells so nice too.
Bought D’alba based on YOU. LOVE THE SMELL. I need more
I love James's boxes, especially VT Reedle. Thank you for your recommendation.
My white truffle bottle just came in the mail!! I'm excited to use it!
James! If you can handle menthol, menthology’s product is amazing. I love their sheet mask.
Perfect for hot summer. When you get a chance, can you review them and share your input? :)
James, we need something for Malar Festoons. I know they can only be fixed by surgery but there has to be some kind of natural semi solution somewhere.
How amazing is your skin James 🤩 just wow 😂
Loving the TirTir Ampoule & milk toner too! 🤠
James, have you tried Naturie skin contioning lotion? It sounds similar to the Mixoon glacier water.❤
I loved the feel of the glacier water from mixsoon but it started breaking me out 😢 i was so sad when i gave it away to my sister lol
Really i was about to buy this serum
I ordered the VT Reedle Shot. You influenced me 😁
Your skin looks incredible #goals 😍
I know this might sound “dirty” because I’ve never had a skincare routine and had never really broke out but I can’t get rid of blackheads, my skin has gotten extremely dry and peels a bit on my nose and forehead and I’m just struggling but I’m looking to get into skincare I’m 18-22(rather not say) but for a long time I didn’t see the point and I just wanted advice on where would you start with skincare, just a really basic morning routine and a before bed, just feel like so many RUclips’s and videos spout overconsumption but when you speak everything sounds like you know what you’re actually talking about, you care about the consumers and you do have amaaaaazing skin so any help (any comments too) would be sooo appreciated
Not a full routine, but one product I love as both a moisturizer and sunscreen is the Bioré Aqua Rich SPF 💗 doesn’t irritate my skin at all or pill when layering other products
@@ArifahBaksh thanks so much will definitely look for it 💕
Find a gentle cleanser with 2% salicylic acid, use that at night before a good moisturizer with ceramides. I really love the thank you farmer sunscreen in the green bottle or the new purito sunscreen in the green container is something James recommended recently. If you don’t wake up greasy in the morning just rinse your face with water and apply sunscreen 🎉
I was influenced (by you AND Robert) to buy the D'alba First Spray Serum. Ugh I hate how much I love it! LOL
I am so trying the D'Alba since you & Robert both love it & the VT Reedle shot. I just realized a freebie I got a year ago when I ordered from YesStyle has that needle stuff in it & I was wondering why it worked so well but kind of hurt...now I can't find it anywhere 😢
Hey James! Have you tried Sunday Riley products? If yes, what's your favourite ones? I don't want to make a purchase before your review or recommendations 😊
Can you please do a review on eco-friendly, zero waste, sustainable products? I’m trying to limit my plastic consumption and am in the process of transitioning to things like solid bar hand soap, sunscreen balm, solid shampoo/conditioner bars, face wash bars, but I’m curious about moisturizers?
Omg .. everyday video .. love it love it .. thank you so much.
How often do you switch up the products you're using? I've been using the same few products for a long time but changing it up makes me nervous lol
Hey James, I was wondering about the 63% off on Amazon US. I used your link and it's 22% off. Was really looking forward to that 63% 😅... Thank you!!!!
You said that the green tomato serum has volufiline, and i would highly recommend researching that ingredient!!!! it causes your fat cells to grow, so i would be cautious and intentional with using anything with that ingredient!!!!
would you recommend the VT reedle shot for skincare beginners? my roommate is interested in it and i personally don’t feel like it would be something i would recommend for her bc of her experience level with skincare but i was wondering if its easy for someone to pick up and use easily?
I am SO CURIOUS about the sebum softener, would it work on other areas of congestion? like a chin full of closed comedones? You mentioned trying it on other ares of the body but what about other areas of the face that are clogged up and acne prone?
I have the patches and tried it on my chin, because my chin is much more clogged than my nose, and it cleared it out really well
Okay I think I'm gonna cave and get the tomato ampoule thingy lmao
Have you tried the tirtir milk toner? :)
Hey James! Love your videos. Im allergic to tomato when I eat it, do you recon it would be the same in skincare, I dont want to mess up my (very sensitive) skin?
Why would you want to risk it if you're allergic? There are a thousand other products you could use instead.
@@JaZmine147 I get that, I have just heard really good reviews about this product and my allergy is not very severe. I probably wont risk having any reaction though. I also was just curious about it in general
I love d’Alba
The only product that made a difference on my skin-of the hundreds I've tried -was the laniege cream toner. My flakey nose is a thing of the past. Now if i could only get rid of the sebaceous filaments on my nose
Thank you! So interesting ❤
I have a beard as well, do you use your products on your beard as well?
The d'Alba Serum Spray sounds so interesting, but unfortunately it is not fragrance-free... 😕
anyone remember the brand of earbuds James uses? 🙏
Helloo James 🎉🖤🤍
The Reedle 700 is uncomfortable. I just went straight to the 700 knowing that it might be stingy but yea- nothing like washing it off in the AM.
I got the ilso sebum serum on your recommendation and my chin is awful and i can say its all its cracked up to be
Hi james
Heloooo! Do you think the D'alba cream would be acne prone friendly? I really want to try it, but I tend to break out with heavier moisturisers. I feel like the gel part would be okay, but I'm nervous to spend the £££. Has anybody experienced breaking out with it? ❤
would love a vegan alternative for reedles
Why did you hate the tir tir lip oils?
Hi James
yey im early for a skincare video hehehe
I definitely thought the thumbnail spelt Enemies for a bit there
You seem knowledgeable and nice but... I've never seen any influencer trying so many products and you publish your videos very frequently, soo...how can you actually know if a product works well if we need at least one month to see results and for an honest opinion one product should be tested so that you know how it influences your skin. Any comments on this one? Thanks!
I read the thumbnail as "enemies" 🤣

Anyone's experience who bought from stylevana and is from Europe?!
VT Reedle? Just no for me. What if this sh@t gets in your eyes? How many creams, serums, etc have I gotten in my eye when unconsciously touching my face, then my eye. Infrequent stinging and burning without any spicules to facilitate the effects. Not worth the risk.
