Tomtom is somewhere over the Rainbow Bridge now; he looked like such a cute little old man and you could see in that short clip that Gus was really worried and trying hard to comfort him. Poor Gus, I'm glad he has Eugene to cuddle with and has such loving parents now!

Don't feel bad, dear lady. Chihuahuas are notoriously "one-person" dogs. It's quite a common trait in this breed, even within a family/household. GusGus definitely is eating well. I love how he uses Eugene's rump as his own personal neck pillow! He's a cutie. You guys are angels.

Some breed are more than others really are bonded to few people ! Chihuahuas are one of them and gus looks alot like one. But i'm sure he loves Adrian too 😊

He is just adorable. So sad they have been neglected by the prior owners. Dental care is very important for the small dogs. I’m sure he got a dental and that can make a huge turnaround because otherwise the bacteria in their mouth can go to their heart and can make them very sick. Thank you for taking such good care of him.
So true and my late aunt spent $500 for her dog’s tooth since the vet said she could die from it. Teeth is very important not only for dogs but for people too.

The world definitely need more folks like yous! Our senior dogs seem to get the short end of the stick but lately that stick is getting longer! And little dude look like a tough boy in his photo where he's a touch overweight! But honestly you guys are just so loving and caring! Thank you!

I am confident Gus doesn't hold a grudge against Adrian over that bath incident. But EVERY pet I've ever met does have a FAVORITE human. And for Gus, that person is apparently Spencer!
Gus looks like a chihuahua, and if he's anything like mine, he can definetly hold a grudge for a bath 😂 but i'm sure he loves Adrian. Like you said, Spencer is really his special human ! (Wich can be even more apparent with chis ! )

I have one. Please know you will spend an incredibly long time with him and will perhaps never see positive results. It’s all about the amount of love, patience and devotion you have. I haven’t had a full nights sleep in a year. I do not work so I don’t leave my elder rescue for more than 3 hrs at a time, a couple times a week. She just had eye surgery and that was 6k$. You just never know. I wish you happiness and the rewards of a pet. My pup is 17 and my hope is that she have love and comfort .
@@Donna-cc1kt I rescued two seniors between 2012 and 2016. They each lived about 2 ½ years each. But I believe their last years were happy ones. Both came to me emaciated and weak. They put on weight very well and thrived till old age problems took them. One was a yellow Lab named Katie and the other one was a 5 pound Pomeranian named Mitzi. I’ve never known such grateful pets in my life. Thanks for your kind words.

I have adopted senior dogs from a shelter. I spend money to help them heal then I lose them after two - three years. It hurts but I am glad they gave me joy.

Sheltered, and animals rescued from the pound,seem to have such an appreciation of life. I rescued my dog "Sarge" from the pound,and I thought we gave him a good life,and another 12 yrs,but it was mutual,cause he gave me 12, of the best years of my life.
