I tweaked this for a nice small loaf that is high in fibre n quite nice. get raw organic buckwheat. Soak one cup overnight or at least 30 mins. Get another cup and just grind into flour in blender. Soak 2 dates, 30 mins is plenty. Rinse soaked buckwheat 3 times and add to blender. I had no celery salt so I used 1/2 teaspoon himalayan salt. I had no cumin so I used a tablespoon organic italian herbs. Threw in half a lemon worth of juice. Added water till it was able to blend. I have a crappy blender so i hafta add too much water so to combat this I added some fibre blend i have which is psyllium, oat bran and flax, which are all good bread additives so I added about a cup of that then it thickened nicely. U could use either one of them alone too, this is just what I did.I scraped it out into a bowl then added the flour and kneaded it till it didn't stick to my hands. I formed it into a loaf, scoring along top as well as sideways. I put fork holes all over so the air could get in and half pre-sliced it for same reason. About 8 hours later it was a bit damp on inside but crusty outside so I ate a few slices. They were tiny slices as it is a little loaf, but warm and filling. I kept dehydrating for another 4 hours and it was damn fine with homemade cashew cheese and chunky tomato. Yay ! And yes, you can eat raw buckwheat if u are not allergic, but get organic and don't live on the stuff, eat fruit n greens and reward yourself now and again. It tastes very like cooked bread so I am gonna perfect the recipe and do a vlog soon. Don't forget, this is raw because it is slow cooked in the deydrater, but it is not raw like bread dough! Eeeooow! Relax and Enjoy !
Hello, love the recipe! How do we get the amount of ingredients and temperature for dehydrating. Also could I do it in the oven at a very low temperature?
I've made this, using sprouted buckwheat but not the flour or dates. A little too dry and crumbly. I think the flour and dates will make all the difference. Looking forward to trying it. BTW, whatever you're doing food-and-lifestyle-wise is working for you. Your skin and hair look phenomenal.
My wife and I have been plant based vegan for 5 years as well as our two young children. We're on day 25 of a juice cleanse/feast and once we come off of it, we'll be going fully raw! Can't wait to fire up our newly purchased dehydrator to make this bread of yours - I haven't seen any other recipes like this that look so much like artisan cooked bread. Thank you for sharing and sorry to see you leave as I just discovered your channel today :( But, we have two children, and I know how it can be in the beginning when they aren't so independent. I know in your other video you welcomed suggestions: Well, if you ever decide to start it up again, I notice many of the vegans and raw foodists in the US go on each other's podcasts/vlogs/etc as guests. That would be a good idea...maybe look to see when they'll be hosting a conference in Germany (A Vegfest type of conference). Some of the people I follow are Rich Roll, FullyRawKristina, OKRAW (John), and LifeRegenerator (Dan). They all guest on each others shows and help build each others subscribers and the movement overall. Something to think about...
I 'm very tempted to try it....I just got my dehydrator...I will try the corn tortillas first and then the bread, when I found the buckwheat to sprout....thank you Maria💚
wow it looks so good. I love bread and I have to make this bread as soon as I can get the ingredients. looks delicious!! yum .. thanks for the video. make more!!
This bread looks awesome and I really want to try it but recipe link isn't working... Please please will you share the amount of each ingredient? I would really really be grateful if you would. I tried going to your home page as well but couldn't seem to find a contact email. I can't seem to search the site in English and wish I knew how to access more of your recipes!
Oh i forgot, i'm out of the country & away from my kitchen :-( Will this work in the oven at low temperature? if so, what temp and length of time do you recommend?
This looks awesome.. really want to make it but the link sent me to a very long techno description in German.. Can you please post the ingredients so we can make it? Thank you!
Hi Maria! Thank for this amasing recipe :-) I love it :))) I just like to ask, if i can use "normal" buckhweat flour from the store?? Or it has to be a special raw buckhweat flour? Thank you so much! :-)
According to food combining rules of Natural Hygiene and Dr. Herbert Shelton, this is not properly combined. It is more a cake than a bread. Mixing acids with starches, sugars with starches, sweet fruit with acid fruit is not recommended.
I do by myself. I soak buckwheat, dehyrated and make a flour. But that's a waste of money 🙂. When i know i make bread or something and need buckwheat flour. I just soak them and blend them in processor instead of buckwheat flour !
Hey Maria! Thanks for the recipe! I have tried to make a sourdough buckwheat bread for my boyfriend as well (just cooked), by fermenting the buckwheat and it worked out well. Then I have tried to make it with stored bought buckwheat flour and it didn't work out (it was smelly and the colour has changed after fermenting for 1 day ). What I am trying to say is that it turned a bit red/brownish like some parts of your bread seem to have changed colour... Did it not smell bad? I know mine did and had to throw it away... And another question, how is your digestion after eating the bread? Thanks for your time :)!
Hi, no my bread did not changed color. Not even after 4 days. I don't have plenty of it each day so there is no problem with digestion. I haven't noticed anything. 1-2 slices of bread are enough for me each day. Than I want more greens:-) Hope that helps you
I have tried making this twice. Sprouted the buckwheat, put raw oats, dates, buckwheat and buckwheat flour in the food prosessor and in the oven at 45° for 12 hours. It came out smelling rotten. Tastes really bad, and impossible to eat. Does anyone know what i have done wrong?
I'm sorry but I don't see how raw/live enzyme is gross...the bread is dehydrated under 118 degrees Fahrenheit so the enzymes are intact, wtf are you doing here anyway if you're not a raw or live food eater, go away

Can you add your tweaked version? I’m super interested 😊
Gabi Bliss, Can you share the recipe, please, if you still have access to it? The link in the description for this video no longer works.
This is by far THE BEST and simplest raw vegan bread recipe I came across in the past years! Thank you for it, I absolutely love it ❤️.
Hello, love the recipe! How do we get the amount of ingredients and temperature for dehydrating. Also could I do it in the oven at a very low temperature?
I get a 404-error when using the link to the recipe page. Is there somewhere else I can find the quantities to make your bread?

Do i need to put the dates in water first to make them soft?
This looks awesome.. really want to make it but the link sent me to a very long techno description in German.. Can you please post the ingredients so we can make it? Thank you!
Which dehydrator did you literally use to make this delicious bread? Thanks!
i want to try!!! looks delicious

Looks tasty, but I wonder how gassy it might be.
Your Web isn't in English, how am I going to get the recipe ?🙃
You said cumin but it looks like caraway seeds ? Which is Kümmel was wondering if you meant caraway seeds, ground and whole ?
Angelika Blossfeld I think she us using ground cumin and caraway seeds. They really give a great taste! 😊
Petya Kun thank you. I can't wait to try it. It looks so delicious
No she's using Cumin seeds and ground cumin. I know what cumin seeds look like it's used in my culture in most dishes
can i mix this in a food processor?
ok..but why that bread look so green inside?
Is Buckwheat flour raw???
Yes, it's ground buckwheat
The thing is the buckwheat is not soaked before people making it become flour
I do by myself. I soak buckwheat, dehyrated and make a flour. But that's a waste of money 🙂. When i know i make bread or something and need buckwheat flour. I just soak them and blend them in processor instead of buckwheat flour !

Thanks, Maria! I can't wait to try it out, once my dehydrator is in place :)
Oh such a great investment. Enjoy and let me know how you like it:-)
looks like Living Dead Bread
T y Who manufactures your dehydrater

It came out smelling rotten. Tastes really bad, and impossible to eat. Does anyone know what i have done wrong?
Did you rinse the buckwheat sprouts well? They need to be rinsed a few times before using.
I did :(
Pretty bread made by a pretty lady.
The music distracted
Yeah cause we all got dehydrators
nice recipe, this chic is a little nuts though
this looks horrendous
will probably be really sweet because of dates.
Lolll
you just have bad taste.troll
Ummmmm eww not everything needs to be raw.
I'm sorry but I don't see how raw/live enzyme is gross...the bread is dehydrated under 118 degrees Fahrenheit so the enzymes are intact, wtf are you doing here anyway if you're not a raw or live food eater, go away
Thank you
:-) It's always a pleasure
