Most player-friendly acoustic bass I've ever seen, with the high access and bevel. Excellent playing.
This bass sounds soooo much like an upright. But still has an own sound. Well done.
I am a long time player, and I am SO FRUSTRATED trying to figure out exactly what he is doing in this version of "Laverne Walk". The bass sounds and looks beautiful. The bass playing is just incredibly perfect!

Could the fingerboard be made unlined? Also, is the tonal quality such that, with flatwound strings, it could emulate an upright bass?
Yes, no problem without lines. Yes, flats or nylon bring more upright sound.

It does not have the woomph of an electric but it's not lacking. It has a character all it's own.

yes, it is possible to make a 6 string. maybe I bring the 5 string next year to the NAMM show.
