The skin also plays several important roles in the body, including protecting the body from injury and infection, regulating body temperature, and sensing touch, pressure, and pain.
The skin can be affected by various factors, such as sun exposure, aging, and certain medical conditions. Keeping the skin healthy involves taking steps such as protecting it from the sun, staying hydrated, eating a healthy diet, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
