Horizons: A Cutterman's Poem

It is based on an essay titled "Horizons," written by Cmdr. Nolan Cain, the commanding officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Diligence (WMEC 616).

The USCGC Roger B Taney WHEC37 took me to sea under the Command of Commander James H Hobaugh early 80's. We breached the eye of hurricane Jeanne in November 1980 off the Yucatan Peninsula.
