FINALLY A DECENT DAY OF FISHING AT THE HERMOSA BEACH PIER

Lately, the water has been off and the fish have not been biting. I still go out regularly to try to find a day that wants to bite but I have not had any luck. This was a day with enough action that I could piece together a video, I hope you guys enjoy

Nothing but mackerels. It seems that's all there is out here in Southern Cali piers. I want something bigger.

There are more species you can catch but if you just using sabiki then pretty much you will only catch mackerel and bonito

This was on Friday, the mackerel are in a weird state right now best to give them a few days or maybe even weeks for a huge jackpot! I have not seen much fish being pulled from the pier lately due to the weather

I make my own sabiki feathers and I tie it on myself. This rig i used one of my older sabiki and tied it onto one that I just recently made 👍. I find that longer sabikis do better than short ones
