Easily the most clutch player of the 2010s. He scored in every big moment in the playoffs, has 3 series winning OT goals, two playoff hat tricks, scored in two Stanley Cup winning games, including one in OT. From 2010-2015, even though Crosby and Ovi got all the attention, Kane was the one to have in a series clinching situation.
Ovi, Crosby and Kane were the best players of 2010s. Ofc there were guys like Toews, Stamkos, Bergeron, Hossa, Kopitar and many others, but I think those three were truly the best and most fun to watch. I only wish Ovi had more success in the playoffs.
@@Furcapper Don't forget about Malkin he is up there with those 3. Same amount of points in 2016 & 17 as Crosby and you can add Conn Smythe 09 with the highest amount of points since 1993.

Not overlooked by the Rangers at all. They were trying to get him. But he wasn't going to come cheap, plus the cap hit would have to be managed in some sort of 3-way trade... Tarasenko is the better option because of those things...
They didn’t overlook him for his skill, everyone knows Kane can play and win, it’s the $$$ Kane costs way too much rn @ 10 million this year. He’s earned every penny and so has Toews though.

It's actually his 11th career hat trick. His first two were in series clinching playoff wins. He also has 5 playoff OT goals, including 3 to win ROUNDS (2nd, WCF, SC).
So his 9th then, playoffs don't actually count for regular seasons stats. Don't know if you knew that just saying.

@@korbendallas7181 Has playoff hat tricks in 2 different decades actually. If he gets traded and back into the playoffs, will probably make it 3 different decades. Acting like he's a has been is hilarious. He had 92 points in 78 games LAST YEAR. He had like 30 points in a single month LAST YEAR. When he is interested he is one of the best players in the world. You don't get old and bad overnight or in a single offseason. And guys at Kane's level (of which there are literally like 5) don't get bad until they're nearly 40 or older.

How many times has this guy amazed. One of my favorite players of all time. Half the pros will tell you this guy was the guy they admired growing up and has the best hands in the business. Respect the game.

The Blackhawks are not selling out games, but their attendance would be the envy of a lot of NHL teams, tank or not. Over 19,000 for a game against AZ last week.

He knows what we all know. He’s playing hard the moment he found out the Rangers were back in it trying to get him. He’s playing elite again he’s taking his time after the crowd is cheering. He knows soon he will be playing with his buddy Panarin and possibly chasing another cup down. Usually I won’t consider a rental player part of a team but if the Rangers get him and win a cup I will buy a Kane Ranger jersey ASAP.

always been a pass first player. facilitator. only a couple 40+ goal seasons. he DID start piling up hat tricks once he got the big contract + the Cups. no regular season hatties his first 8 years (2 in playoffs). 9 since 2016. could have had the 4th goal tonight from 3/4 of the ice away, unselfishly gave Domi the easy goal.

I have a strange feeling the Leafs search for a goaltender that can lead them to the promised land is going to continue (again) after this season. It was supposed to have been Fuhr but then Potvin came along and after that it was CuJo, Telquist, Raycroft, Toskala, Reimer all came and went. And then Bernier, Andersson and Campbell and now these two....but does anyone really think that either of the guys they have now is any better than anyone I listed???
